Hello all, I'm looking looking at driving Heavy Goods vehicles when I move back to Australia. Has anyone done this as a career, and if so any advice or tips you can send my way would be appreciated. I realise I cannot transfer my HGV license over to a QLD license which is slightly irritating, but here's hoping the Government allow this before 2023. Otherwise I will have to retake my tests.

I have, but it was mentioned in the 309 spouse/partner thread that I need to attach the file. Also am I answering question 40 even though it asked me to skip to Part E?

I've printed the 40sp form as I need to scan and attach to my part of the visa application when I've finished completing it.(immiaccount)

Hi I'm currently filling out this form. Sponsorship for a partner to migrate to Australia. Question 39 asks if you are eligible for New Zealand Citizenship....if you choose no (Which I have) it then asks you to go to Part E, Which means skipping quite a few questions including numerous ones on convictions etc which I thankfully don't have. I presume I just following the form instructions and skip to Part E? Many thanks, Joe.

Hi more questions....sorry. Form 888 Statutory declaration - Does this need to be done as the supporting witness was included in the original application? Form 80 - personal particulars for character assessment. Form 1221 Additional personal particulars. On my part of the application. Form 40sp Sponsorship for a parner to migrate to Austalia. I only ask as we seem to be repeating the same information on all the forms. Many thanks. Joe.

As an Australian Citizen and sponsor for my Wife do I need to do the police check as part of her spouse visa?

Just completed my wife’s visa, now she needs to arrange a medical. We’ve also got to start attaching all our evidence. i’m hoping it will be fairly straightforward with my being an Australian citizen and both are daughters getting their citizenship through decent. fingers crossed.

HI first post. My wife is going to apply for the 2 part spouse visa subclass 820 and 801. Can anyone tell me what is involved with the medical part, and what type of checks are done? MY wife suffers with Fibromyalgia and we're concerned it may effect her chance of getting a visa. I'm an Australian citizen living in the UK and both our daughters have just got Australian citizenship through decent. Our plan is to move back to OZ in 2023. Many thanks.
