Hi All, Just jumping on this tread. I applied whilst in Oz on the 23 July 2019 along with police checks, medical done a few days later and on the system a week later. Immigration are saying that it is going to take 22-28 months!! I have been with my husband for 14 years, married for 5 and have two sons together who have dual citizenship. I've not heard anything and don't have a case officer yet. Has anyone out there who applied at the same time as me heard anything yet? Cheers

Thanks for your reply. I have applied whilst in Australia. What does decision ready mean? Is it when all the information that they have asked for is in? I have submitted everything, police checks are in and have had health checks too.

Hi all, Does anyone have any news on timescales for the 820/801 visa's. I put my application in a month ago and appreciate that it won't be coming through anytime soon but will it really take the 22-28 months that they are stating it will take. My hubby and 2 sons are Australian citizens so I'm kind of hoping that maybe it will come through quicker! If anyone has had it come through sooner it would be great to hear your experiences. Cheers

Hi, I applied for my 820 visa almost a month ago. My immi account just says that they have received it. How long does it take for a case officer to be allocated to my application?
