  1. Good morning all, it’s been a while since my last post but I wanted to inform that I received my 100 visa! I hope my timeline below helps others. Timeline: 309/100 Lodged on 26/10/2018 (Front Loaded except Medicals) RFI (Medicals) 01/04/2019 Medicals completed and uploaded 10/04/2019 RFI (Medicals) 06/06/2019 Medicals completed and uploaded 18/06/2019 309 granted 04/09/2019 moved to Australian 10/09/2019 Applied for 100 visa 24/01/2021 100 visa granted 21/10/2021 Good luck, I hope your wait isn’t too long!
  2. Hey, Just to keep the timelines accurate, I received my 301 grant on 4/9/19. It looks just over 10 moths from lodgement. I found it really helpful when I was waiting for people to update their "Signature" with their timeline so it was easy to get context without scrolling back through loads of pages to see their timelines. I wish you all the best of luck, I know how frustrating it is waiting, but don't be too disheartened! I was someone who thought "everyone is receiving there's, what's wrong with my application?" But it will come just hang on in there! I have been living in Aus since mid September and loving it but definitely missing my family back home! Good luck everyone who's waiting from the 2018 application!
  3. Hi @Jeannie, I flew from London Heathrow with Singapore airlines. I had gotten a tourist visa as a security in case my 309 didn't come in time and I believe that caused me a couple of issues when checking in as they couldn't find any visa on their system for me. Once this was all resolved, with a very quick call to immigration, they informed me that if I had travelled solely on my tourist visa with a one way ticket they would have and me to purchase a return
  4. Thank you for all the messages! At the end of my first full day living in Australia! I was so lucky to get the 309, 6 days before I was due to fly out! As I only had a one way ticket the airline had said when I was waiting at check in that I would have needed to buy a return otherwise they wouldn't have allowed me to travel! Regardless, I'm glad it was all okay and I entered Australia with no issues! Good luck to the rest for you, especially the 2028 applications. I know exactly what you are feeling and it is horrible but it will happen soon I promise!
  5. As my ticket to go to Australia is booked for within the next three weeks, I applied for a tourist visa, and I received it today. The stress of not receiving my 309 has lessened slightly as I can now legally enter the country when I fly even if it is as a tourist! Having said this, from my previous tourist visa experiences, I normally waited around 1-2 days for the grant which is also what they estimate their processing time as. However, I applied last Wednesday and received it today so, 4 business days which isn't bad but definitely the longest I've waited for one. Seems all their visa departments are running a bit slower.
  6. @AH88 I was thinking the exact same thing this morning. I could be waiting till June 2020 (90% in 20 months). I feel how you are feeling and it's getting extremely frustrating now. I move next month (tickets booked) but now looking at tourist visa options incase visa isn't granted in time it's so disheartening to see 2019 applications granted and us 2018 lot still waiting. Don't get me wrong I'm excited for everyone but it'd just a very long time to wait. At this point I am eagerly waiting for thse who submitted RFI evidence in May to get an email as then I feel I will be closer to receiving an email too!
  7. I used an Australian migration agent, it is very frustrating not being able to log in and see if there are any updates!!
  8. I just had a look at my application is being dealt with at the London office too. However, one RFI was from (name removed) and the second from (name removed). Interesting that it is not one person assigned to a case, and that it goes to anyone in the dept it seems. always crossed that more grants come through this week!
  9. Welcome to the forum @AH88! My timeline is fairly similar to yours, just a waiting game now unfortunately. But it's nice to have people who understand to share the experience with!
  10. I am now 9 months post lodgement! Everyday hoping that the golden email has come through! I also hope @roomummy is right in that once you receive an RFI you are put into a new RFI pile and not to that back of ALL applications. I'm trying to stay as positive as I can but it is extremely challenging, as most of you know! But try think of it as, every day gone by is one day closer to receiving that golden email! Keep positive everyone and please post if you receive any kind of communication from immigration! I know seeing others receive emails keeps me going!
  11. @Emz82 I hope so but there does not seem to be any order or priority by lodgement date which is frustrating. I check my emails and this forum everyday! It's getting too obsessive but any news of people getting grants makes me think that maybe mine will be soon!?
  12. Hi @mppc I know how you feel! I had an RFI on 6th June and haven't heard a single thing since! It is so hard. I can't check anything either as I applied through an agent. She believes the grant will come through next month, but all this waiting makes you think crazy things. I can't help but think if something is wrong, or are they going to reject the application. It's very stressful and I understand they have to do all their checks however immigration needs to take into consideration how much stress is caused by having to wait so long without hearing anything, and also seeing people who applied well after us, receiving their grants. I hope our grants come through sooner rather than later!
  13. It's been hard staying positive these last couple of weeks! So much is being put on hold because the visa has not arrived yet. I contacted movers to ship my stuff ready for arrival in September however they have said they need to see the visa grant before they are able to ship anything over. Also as I am a teacher, I am unable to join the teaching registration board until my grant comes through as well. I don't think they realise the stress people go through with such long wait times. I hit 9 months waiting next Monday. I hope lots more visas are granted soon! Good luck everyone, especially those waiting since 2018!
  14. Hi @ES86 your timeline is very similar. I applied end of October and had two RFIs (one in April one on June) and now desperately waiting!
  15. I don't suppose anyone on here lodged around October/November 2018 and still waiting for your grant? It seems like lots of people who lodged after that time frame are getting their grants (although I am of course very happy for you). It does play on your mind "why haven't I had mine yet?" more grants are coming through!
  16. Hi @TWright105 I'm in a similar situation. I had an RFI for medicals and it will all good and uploaded 18/06 so now just waiting, hopefully good news will come soon for all waiting!
  17. Hi @Steppy I hope your grant comes through before then so you don't have to come back and leave your family!! I am a teacher and therefore have had to resign from my job already. I am moving over in September and hoping that the visa comes before then. If not then I will have to go over on a visitor visa maybe (I'm not really sure how it works then). My husband (who is my sponsor) is Australian and has lived there most his life so we have been doing a long distance relationship for 3.5 years so I'm just excited to go over to Australia! The wait for the grant is horrible and it's hard having this quiet period on the grant front but I also have all my fingers and toes crossed for you and everyone to receive their grants quickly!
  18. I have also got my one way ticket booked for beginning of September! Really hoping visa comes in soon! Almost reaching the 9 month mark since I lodged my visa! lots of visas come through this week!
