I have very happily just received my citizenship it’s been such a long journey over the past few years.

Before hand my last visa was a 190 I’m just wondering what happens to that now? (I can’t seem to find any information online)

And do I still have to complete the full two working years in my state NT (requirements for the visa) now that I am a citizen of Australia?

482 yes, possibly could extend. But what are options without extending 482? Tourist visa? @VERYSTORMY

I have my EOI lodged to the NTgov with 75 points for a 491 went in mid December. I currently on a 482 and It expires on the 25th of this month. As you can imagine I do not want to leave, have I any options or is there anything I can do to stay whilst i am waiting for EOI to come back?

I’m having to write a letter of commitment to the NT and I’m a bit stuck on on how it should be written and if their are any samples out there I could see to get a idea of what is expected. It’s a bit daunting as I’m not very good at stuff like this any help or ideas  samples would be much appreciated thanking you kindly

But I have 15 years experience and their only giving me 10.witch means I lose 5 crucial points

Looking for a bit of feed back as I’m confused.

I have been a a glazier for 15 years now 8years at home 6years in Australia.My skills assessment came back and is only given that I have been in my trade since 2008 onwards when I have been A glazier since  2003.How is this??i had given tax details,bank statements,wage slips?

My agent said that points for skilled employment experience can only be calculated from the past 10years in Oz and overseas?is this right?

This is really confusing when the points calculator asked for overseas experience over 5 but no more than 8?

I am now 5 points shy of 65, and agent is saying my points will go up in November 1st when they change the system again(then I can lodge a EOI)my visa runs out in January,I’m worried I will run out of time and may have to leave.

I’m confused.....what the difference with a  TRA  point and positive skills assessment??

i was not aware their was a interview also?is that just for certain trades or is that mandatory for everybody with  the TRA requirements?

i am currently awaiting me skills assessment return from Trades Recognition Australia as a Glazier ANZSCO - 3331-11.This was was lodged mid march,return email said it will be  90 day turn around or possibly more.Just wondering if anyone has had theirs back sooner or later?Any info will be much
