Thanks. I heard from my MA and she seconded your opinion. However, she indicates that typically, if nomination and PR are applied together, you can expect to hear within a month. Again, this is more of a trend than a rule.

Dear All My Employer filed 186 nomination on Oct 3, 2018 and I applied PR on Nov 15, 2018 and submitted medical test results on Nov 30, 2018. I received the approval for employer nomination on Feb 21, 2019 (i.e. in around 4.5 months) but not heard anything about my PR. Does the nomination approval and PR approval usually takes same time? i.e. As nomination approval arrived 4.5 months after Oct 3, I can expect PR to also arrive within 4-5 months from Nov 30, 2018? Thanks for sharing your experiences and ideas.

Any Idea if there is a relationship in the processing time for employer nomination and PR approval? If employer nomination takes, for example, 6 months, will the PR approval will also take 5.5-6.5 months?
