  1. Oh thank goodness. I honestly didn’t feel I could truly enjoy our good news until you were in the boat with us. Congratulations CEP, that must feel like huge weight has lifted. You deserve it. Sending loads of best wishes your way.
  2. Having seen some other posts where timing was everything I thought I would just add my experience of the last 10 mins. I just checked Immi through my fingers only to see the same dreaded "Further Assessment" status. Disheartened I jumped in my email to see my usual login notification, followed immediately with a timestamp of 1 min after my login, 2 emails granting first the 309 and then the 100. 1 min after my login. 1 min. If I was a superstitious man I would suspect the two things are connected by more than chance. Unfortunately I am not a superstitious man and I will put it down to impeccable timing. However reading very similar posts in the past does give me pause for thought. Perhaps they just got sick of sending my login email every 2-3 hrs I know I have only recently started to post here but I have been closely watching this thread since I first submitted some 8 months ago. To all newcomers you are in good company here, the people are helpful and encouraging. To those still on a long term wait as I was up until less than an hour ago I honestly from the bottom of my heart hope for a speedy decision as this has been 8 of the hardest months I can remember. And especially a big thanks and crossed fingers for CEP who has been running a spreadsheet for everyone to see which gives some kind of view on the absurdity of this process. Watching the Visas granted in shorter timescales than he/she has had to endure and still offering support and help to everyone here. I thank you. I will be watching this space like a hawk for his/her grant along with all those still waiting. Oh and one more thing, do not get paranoid or disheartened. The process is awful. Do not question yourself or your application. It is an illogical system that seems to have no bearing on the date submitted or simplicity of the perceived case. It will happen when it happens but don't let the process taint your life. Good luck all.
  3. Those white cells in the spreadsheet are starting to look very lonely indeed. As others have said it would be nice to see a straight run of green this week. Fingers and whatever other appendages you can spare crossed.
  4. Thanks Katiebobbles, we started the application in June also so it sounds like we were seeing the same thing. I am watching the Visas roll in for people here which is at once great and really frustrating. Especially when the date of submission seems to have absolutely no bearing on the grant timescales. I must say this has been pretty far from a pleasant experience. And the constant self doubt about whether I did everything correctly is killing me.
  5. I hate this, I am now starting to question whether we have done everything correctly with the incredibly confusing and opaque immiaccount system. I was wondering whether I was supposed to create a new application for the sponsor? Under the applicants upload section it automatically created a section for myself as the sponsor and provided a location for me to upload the 40SP etc. So I assumed that was the correct location for all of my (the sponsors) information. Doubting myself I have started to read back through the RFI communication and it very clearly states "The sponsor must create a new ImmiAccount if they do not have one already. Please ensure that once your sponsor has created their ImmiAccount, they select ‘New Application’ and not ‘Import Application’" I definitely did not do this and hunting for an answer all I can find is conflicting information. Did anyone else just upload into the sponsors section of the main applicants account?
  6. I thought I would add my details to the mix as it closely aligns with many others on here. I am Australian by birth, applying for the Visa for my wife. Together for 17 years, married for 12. Two kids who have both been granted Australian citizenship by descent in the time since my wife’s Visa application was submitted. Application submitted 11th June, RFI 14th Nov and Police checks submitted a couple of weeks later. So closely aligned with a lot who are receiving great news. Well done to you all and sorry to hear for some that family illness has crept into the mix. We are patiently (!?) waiting, now in the unusual position that myself and our two kids are Australian but my wife’s visa is holding back all of our plans.
