is this the page to make complaint to immigration?I think this page is for AIC agencies (that is, ASIO, ASIS, ASD, AGO, DIO or ONI),not for immigration, see the advice below:
https://www.igis.gov.au/complaints/tips-and-advice-making-complaint
Yeah unsure why this was shared as does not apply to visa processing times - it is do do with security assessments?!
If you want to make a complaint to immigration there is a link on their website.
I have heard that they do not appreciate complaints regarding processing times - and in turn this just wastes their 'valuable' attention away from visa processing. I have know of many people that have complained - none of which received a response or any progress on their visa.
I know it is dis-heartening in waiting, especially when you see people who applied after you get granted - it is unfair and no one truly knows in what sequence they are working.
Try not let it be on your mind everyday - try to be positive your time will come

Good that you already mentioned.
Hi @Royal1
Look at the positive - immi have not rejected your application they just require more information.
So if you reply to the requested documents by including Company Letter on Letterhead explaining and also include Stat Dec and/or Form 1023 to correct the issue. I am sure it will be fine - they just need some clarification
-
@Kashif.Iqbal just ask the person who posted it on Facebook for the link or where they got it from.
Then share with us, as @Hex said It's difficult providing advise on topics that cannot be verified

Congratulations!!!
when did you receive the email regarding your nomination approved?
Did you receive the email from Immi the 04/04/19
Hi guys, bad news Immi refused my nomination because insufficient training. Impossible because when applied for 457 we put that my boss would do the training plus external training by other company. We sent receive and all the proof but still they didn’t approve.
Any advice? I think they did a mistake.
What can I do?
thanks
Sorry to hear about the refusal
Maybe the $ spent on training didn't meet the benchmark or could be another reason?
Did you use an MA?
The Training Benchmark system requires sponsors to demonstrate expenditure of:
- an amount equivalent to 2% of gross payroll towards a training fund, such as a donation to a TAFE college or University; or
- an amount equivalent to 1% of gross payroll on training Australian staff.
Existing sponsors are required to meet the Training Benchmarks either on the anniversary of their sponsorship or in each financial year.
Options;
- Your employer can appeal the refusal - only would recommend if 100% you believe that immi made mistake - this is a loong process though could be 1/2 years or more to get the appeal.
- Are you still on 457 visa? is it a possibility to submit a new application? I know its at great expense but likely to be processed quicker than the appeal route. Only thing is Employer will need to pay the SAF.
- If on a bridging visa already (that is if your 457 has already expired) bit of a trickier process you can re-apply but you will be on bridging visa C - which means no travel!
Speak to some Migration Lawyers/Agents and assess the options best for you - would definitely recommend specialist advise under the circumstances.
Wish you all the best and again so sorry - I understand went through a nomination refusal too

I have an alias that I use at work but it was never used on any legal documents that’s why I didn’t mention it in Form 80.
The CO is asking why wasn’t it mentioned.
Any suggestions on what can be provided.
Do you have a Migration Agent? As would always recommend to seek professional migration advice.
Can you elaborate on your Alias at work... to what extent is it used? Is it on your payslips/official employment documents etc? or just like a Nick Name?
In this case I would get your company to provide a letter to the department (on company letter head) explaining that you are known as "alias" at work - however you are legally known as....
Also you could include a statutory declaration - explain truthfully why it was not disclosed - you could also submit the Form 1023 ( https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/form-listing/forms/1023.pdf ) Notification of incorrect answer and try to correct it.

Hi guys
Anyone got requested natural justice s57?
I believe that this is in regards that the department may think you have breached some visa conditions - have they given any more information regarding this so can better assist?
Also what is your occupation?

There are tabs in the 186 timeline (see at the bottom of sheet) - you can select the different months and the year is indicated too.
Update your signature to include the following - (instructions in my signature below)

Hi all,
Do you know anyone that got their visa with expired police checks? I mean over 4 months expired..
Thank you.
Hi Duda,
This is entirely up to the Case Officer.
I would recommended that your police checks are up to date to avoid any delays though, as if the CO requests valid police checks then that could delay your application up to 28 days +

Hi @steve 007 my timeline is in my signature, i got my nomination and application approved today. without any questions or further docs asked.
I think what @steve 007 means is to update your signature to show the visa grant date and status as you haven't updated yet (still says received)

Hlo everyone..i have one question if someome face same situation and get grant please let me know...the thing is i apply 186 trt as cook in april 2017 and got nomination approved in march 2018 and they ask police chevk and form 80 again..because of we tick on criminal record...actually my husband slap me 3 years ago due to stress and i did complaints against him..and later on we sought it out and court give diversion plan to my husband because of that police check remove all the charges against my husband...but immigration send my husband file for characters assessment...and yesterday they give reply of my complaint and they said we have to wait until they not decide about my file and immigration really strict about domestic violence..they said dont make any plan for travel until file not decide.......any one suggest me something what i have to do now
Hi,
I haven't faced the same situation.
I came across this article: https://www.sbs.com.au/news/australia-to-refuse-visas-for-domestic-violence-offenders which looking at it I would say your husband has slim chance of getting his visa for Australia.
Firstly do you have a Migration Agent (MA)? It may be worth seeking professional assistance to address this.
I would suggest that you complete a statutory declaration - might be good to include one from yourself and also one from your husband explaining what had happened, why it happened and the rehabilitation undertaken to ensure that it has been addressed and will not happen again and that your husband is reformed character etc...
As you have mentioned - Immigration take this crime very seriously and there is no tolerance for domestic violence.
It's hard to know what Immigration will decide, but wish you all the best.

Hi all, do they only ask for Medicals when they have looked at your application?
I was told to do it as soon as they lodged it
Thanks
Its entirely up to you, if you do before a CO is assigned then it may mean a decision is made quicker - avoids them asking you to complete medical.
I had done a medical for previous application in July 2017 - so my medical had expired July 2018
My 186 was granted without the need to complete a new medical - however I believe we were lucky as heard others were requested to do new ones if expired, just depends on your CO i guess!

Hi all, sorry to ask again, I know it's there somewhere but I went back a fair few pages and can't find the information I'm looking for. I'd like to know how to import an application to myimmi account so I can check the status without asking my MA every 2 days lol.
Anyone remember how to do it?
Online application
To import an online application:
- log in to ImmiAccount
- select 'Import Application'
- enter the Application ID, date of birth, travel document number and country for the main applicant
- select 'Confirm'
The imported application will show in your ImmiAccount.

Hi everyone... can I work 2nd job rather than my nominated employer on 186 visa...
thank you
While on 457 if you are the main applicant you can only work for nominated employer.
However once your 186 visa is granted you can have a 2nd job

Hi guys,
When I was checking the s56 request further information mail, I could see the CO signature and the position number, does this position number refers to our application position in the queue? No - this position number is basically the Case Officer's ID number

Hi guys,
I was wondering if in any of your applications you put in details of volunteer work you've done in Australia? Especially if it relates to your nominated position? What did you include?
My occupation is event manager, and I've recently joined a non-profit to help disadvantaged women in Australia, and I'm lending use of my event management skills. This directly ties in with my job, and I feel like may be useful to include in the application as it makes me seem like a "good" candidate. Obviously, I'll continue volunteering my time and talent regardless of whether it is advised to put into the application.
Just wondering if anyone's had experience with that.
Hi are you the main holder of 457 visa? if so you could be breaching the work condition of only working for your nominated company?
Just be careful...here is a useful document explaining. https://www.volunteering.nsw.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0017/432251/volunteers___visas.pdf

Am also waiting bro I dont know what was the point of sending that email if the processing is still normal.
anyone else guys?
Well you are still within the processing time - try to stay positive and don't let it annoy you!
I received that email (on 4/4/19) and my visa got granted 2 weeks and one day after on 19th April (I am an applicant from June 2018).
There has been so much movement in this community the last week especially (remember this community is a very very small sample of all those 186 visa applicants) with Visa grants and nominations getting approved.... so stay positive!

Hi - my friend did - but didn't seem to have any affect!
You are just over the processing times - I heard (check out a number of pages back) that only successful to complain about when over the processing times by double

Hello everyone!
We applied for our visa (DE stream, onshore) on 2 March 2018. At this point our status is still Received and we have received no updates at all. Full details in my signature (please may we be added to the spreadsheet?)
Our police certificates remain valid until November 2019 (this is the second batch that we have applied for), but our medicals expired on 21st March. I have asked our MA if we .should re-do our medicals and they were 50/50. We are going overseas in early May for a few weeks so might do this when we get back.
I understand we just have to wait, I'm trying to limit obsessively checking our immi account! We have lived here for 5 years now and just keeping my fingers crossed for our golden email asap!
Hi
I would hold off with the medicals - mine had expired in July 2018 and my visa got granted last Friday 19th April. I was so surprised we were not requested to get new ones.

Hi Everyone
My boss just called and advised my PR has been granted, absolutely delighted and surprised that they did not request a new medical as ours was completed in July 2017 - we had a refused nomination prior to this application.
Straight out approval - no request for anything further
Also very surprised we got granted on Good Friday (public holiday)
My MA agent received the email on 4/4/19 advising will be allocated soon.
Thank you everyone in this forum, this is a great community with so much help, advice and support.
Wish you all the very best.... now a nice long weekend to celebrate
7 years in Australia and now finally a permanent resident - buzzing!

You will also need to submit the form 1023 to correct the character questions in your application.
Would also suggest to provide the new police check too.
