We applied in Nov 2017 and not expecting it till 2024-2025. The queue dates were a lie, and dont believe "48 months" or whatever it shows on the processing times..thats a lie too

Thanks Linda . I can see that your 143 visa was lodged n middle of 2017. what is your expectation as to when you will receive the visa? I'm asking because my parents were was lodged in november 2017 so i am trying to get an idea where they are in the queue.

Does anyone know how many people are currently in the queue at this stage? Anywhere i can find the data for that Applied for my parents in Nov 2017 and we're trying to get an idea of when they will get their perm visa if they are only going to be granting 6000 visas per year

Hi everyone , new to the forum here. First post. I have been following this thread for a while and decided to sign up. I lodged the 143 visa for my parents back in November 2017, it was acknowledged 2 weeks later and we realized that we're in for a long wait. Realistically how long are we looking at waiting? 4 years? 5?6? My parents are quite old and not in their best health condition. I fear that they may not live to see the day that their visas are granted so they can be here with me. It is such a crime that we're selling our houses and other assets to get money to bring our parents here to live with them and the processing times only keep increasing
