How many points you've got and which occupation for Victoria 190?

Hello Folks! Does anyone aware of tax deductions or tax benefits available for people on 489 Visa. Can they tax deductions on their income for kids education, medical insurance premiums, family tax benefits or expense related to kids. Appreciate if someone can put some light on the topic or guide me where can I find more details. Many thanks

Hi Alka. Welcome to the forum. You should've by now received grant. I've seen@jimbo applying on 30th October getting one. I thought it's on 1st come 1st basis unless CO have asked for additional information.Have they?

Hi Jon or Sophie. I've been following the this thread and other. I'm amused to see yours@jetblast jenki and jellica responses. I'm sailing in the same boat as yours. Front loaded my Visa application on 15th November. Awaiting grant. I would love to be in touch with you bunch and hopefully tag along for a beer at Henley :). If I get my grant in Feb/March , me and my wife are planning to touch down by July end. Hope to see you'll in Adelaide. Stay in touch!

Hi Sonia. Can you share your timelines and state you've applied 489 for. Jobs I know of friend of mine who was on a similar visa 4 years back did not come across any employer treating him differently just beca1use he was on 489.
