  1. Hi Gurpreet. Not heard of immi Assessment commencement email? When did you receive it?Yes I've front loaded all my docs. Immi status is yet received. Lodged my Visa on 15th November 2018. How about you.. which Visa did you apply for and what state and anzsco code and what stage you're at? Do you have dependents in your application ? Sorry not sure if I've missed this information you might've already shared.
  2. You should be fortunate, that they're at least looking at your case. It's been more 138 days and still no clue what's going on [emoji53]. Yeah but wish they spotted it earlier, would have saved both you and the CO some time. Good luck!
  3. A video on the announcement on the introduction of new regional visas by PM, immigration and infrastructure minister. The article is about something else, however it has a linked video not sure if everyone is able to view it. I did and i would suggest if you could view it, do watch it. https://www.sbs.com.au/yourlanguage/punjabi/en/article/2019/03/22/opening-doors-more-exploitation-concerns-over-governments-regional-migration-plan
  4. Hi Joseline. You're right. My bad! I just panicked and misread 2019 as nov 2018 . Sorry for the misunderstanding.
  5. I referred to the link below..awaiting my MA response. https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/what-we-do/regional-migration
  6. Hi Joseline. I may be wrong, I'm getting in touch with my MA. If you can share this link. My understanding was on the basis of the link below. https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/what-we-do/regional-migration
  7. Has anyone gone through the new regional visa. Guess all applied after october and awaiting grant will be under new changes. 3 years stay and 5 year Visa
  8. Yeah I'm clueless too. Guess no point pondering. Just wait and watch!
  9. This is weird. Can you check if the lodged application was a single applicant or had dependents added to it?
  10. Yeah the whole process seems so inconsistent and opaque. They should somewhere tell you what's going on with your case. Hopefully they clear the backlog soon. One thing I've noticed is the single applicants are processed sooner and are prioritized. One with dependents are 2nd and one with dependents and claiming points are the ones taking most time. As in my case since I'm claiming points for my wife experience, they've to verify all her employment, education and other docs too. The wait is taxing!
  11. Processing Time 75% of applications: 8 months 90% of applications: 12 months
  12. Processing Time 75% of applications: 8 months 90% of applications: 12 months Not so great news fellas !
