  1. Hi all who have been on here in last few months. So glad as you say that we have mostly all made it through and about to start another episode of our lives. We move out of house in Haslemere tomorrow, 2 and bit weeks visiting family and friends to say cherrio and then us and our dog leave on 27th March for Perth! Thanks for all the moral support and best wishes.
    Good luck with the move!

We will be in Perth in June. Container confirmed. Flights booked tomorrow. Exciting!

  2. I also checked this and it seems fine- quite a few people who have had their visa granted had their partner form status  listed as submitted right until the grant came through!
My sponsors status never changed. Even after grant, it still says submitted!
  3. It's 6am on the Gold Coast, fuelled by [mention=269597]CEP[/mention] email yesyerday ive woken.up & gone straight to my phone full of hope......
Still in the waiting lounge [emoji29]
    Congratulations [mention=273340]Ingers[/mention]
    Im drowning in green xx
They must be clearing the back log before going into March. Fingers crossed it comes in the next day or so. We need you guys to be green too!! @zoeholding 🤞🤞🤞

  4. make that 3! Im so stressed, im onshore with 3 children, I cant work, they cant go to school / nursery,  my husband is working everyday & doing overtime to give us that little bit more. Weve got to go to New Zealand when the grants finally arrive, will have to do that on my own aswell [emoji20]
Come on London, I think weve waited long enough now xx
No 4 for the stressed gang !

I'm beginning to suffer from paranoia.

C'mon London. We've all been good little applicants, shared our personal and financial history with you, paid out fees and waited patiently. It's now time for our reward. Pleeeeeease! 🤞

  5. [mention=273340]Ingers[/mention] I've just logged on to find all 90+ of my husband's documents have disappeared too [emoji30] I've them up and he said they can see a lot of documents in the background but can't tell me how many. I want to cry as ours haven't even been looked at yet. I expect had to fill in the technical help form. Can you let me know if you hear anything back? Dx
    Don't panic!!!

I managed to find the helpline unicorn today (unicorn because they are very hard to find when calling the helpline)- someone who knew what they were talking about and could help.

So - when you load the docs on the immi account what you can see is an acknowledgement that your docs have been successfully loaded onto the DMS and linked with your account.
The docs are not stored on the portal.

I, in panic reloaded everything and I have been told that there are now duplicates in my application files.

The helpful unicorn told me that he thought it was a viewing error with the portal and reassured me that my evidence had no gone anywhere and won't affect the visa process at all.

I would still raise the technical support request so they can address the problem.

    Hope that reassures you !

  6. Called them, they have no clue. Pfft... anyone know how to directly contact CO?
That number is as useful as a chocolate teapot IMO. They can only direct you around the website.

This email is for applicants who hold the 309 already so they may be able to help! It's an onshore centre so the assumption is you may need to be in Australia going through then next step, but they will tell you if they can't assist !

  7. I can't remember exactly what you did but someone talked about being able to download what you had uploaded through the portal .... if you do that can you see those documents you have lost??
All crossed it's fixed for you
Congrats to those visa grants today
I have a copy of everything that was requested in the RFI and have replaced everything and also put a note in the "update details box"

What has annoyed me is that this may have gone unoticed if I hadn't logged in to see all Sponsor evidence has gone. They could have rejected me for lack of evidence which I had already supplied!

We can't delete it from our end, so it must have been a system error on their side and there is no way to discuss it with anyone and see what damage has been done to the application/timeline.

Seeing this with all the other grants come out after a period of silence is just upsetting. I logged on in hope that something had changed and Boy! had it, but not for the better.
We really are at their mercy.

  8. It's only my husband's stuff that was requested for on the RFI. The whole thing was completed within 7 days of the request and all just disappeared.

It does look as if there was a system glitch that has resulted in all of my husband's documents disappearing.

I'm pretty angry to be honest , I have everything and can upload it all again but I shouldn't have to do this at this stage and who knows where it will put our application.

    *Sob*

  9. Oh my god - what has happened?

With the spurt of approvals I just logged on and ALL of my sponsors documents have disappeared from my immi account and HIS!
The sponsor form, the police certificates from UK and AUS, his evidence of citizenship, evidence of our new house, - all gone.

Anyone seen this before or do I have a massive panic???[emoji44][emoji44]

    Congratulations@AmyLondon by the way!! [emoji16]

  10. Keep staying positive one and all and CONGRATS to those that have received great news! I've got to head back to the UK as my Dad is seriously ill so accruing the air miles in 2019! Really hope my grant can be approved whilst I am away from Oz. Fingers crossed for all still waiting.
Oh I hope things turn around for the better for your Dad.

Mine has stage 4 Prostate Cancer (inoperable) and part of my deal with my husband in leaving Dad behind to live in Australia was that I could fly back and be with him when the Big C decides "it's time" . He's doing ok at the moment but it's been the hardest part of my decision to go!

    Sending best wishes!
  11. Another long time lurker here...

My partner applied for offshore 309/100 Visa out of London using an agent

    Application date: 29-6-2018

    Police checks all done.

    RFI: 20-11-2018 (medicals), completed 28-11-2018.

We were advised that a CO will not be assigned until the second quarter of 2019 or after...

That's interesting Emma. Who advised on the assignment of the CO? Are you with a migration agent?
  12. That’s correct. And yes, tourist stream.
I included a letter from my partner to say he would be providing accomodation and supporting me during my visit and 3 of his payslips.
within the application I stated what we would be doing- some visits to his family, and spending Christmas together

Thanks! That's good information to have. [emoji16]
  13. Thank@cep ! Was it the Tourist stream you applied for rather than the Family stream?

I don't think it would be possible to be more over the account than I already am! [emoji23][emoji23]. But wise advice to make sure I'm hovering over the cancel button.

I am guessing if I am granted a 600 and THEN the 309 is granted. The 309 then cancels out the 600. Would that be right?

  14. Lovely PIOs !

We have decided to press ahead with plans to travel at the end of May.  House goes on the market today. Cats are due to be released from their Quarantine in Perth in June and up till a few weeks ago, I was pretty confident that my 309/100 would be through before I departed.  That is now looking a little dicey.

So my question is - What are the potential pitfalls I should be aware of if I apply for a Subclass 600 to travel to Aus on.  I am aware some of you have already done this and I would be interested in learning from your experiences so I am fully prepared!

    Thanks so much !  😍

  15. I’m hoping they’re now working through October lodgements...looks like there were some RFI’s for those applying at the start of October. We lodged on the 28th October, but no contact as yet. Just keeping everything 🤞
I'm August lodgement and there are others on similar timelines so there is still some way to go but some that were lodged later have their grants. It's so difficult to judge!

  16. I know the feeling it's a absolute nightmare, we can't plan anything applied last March requested futher info a couple of time. When did you apply? Doesn't seem to be much movement with grant at the mo [emoji848][emoji20]
Fingers  crossed it won't be long till you get the email [emoji846]
Crikey. March is a long time!. Fingers crossed yours in imminent.

We were August. Had a question over the medical and an RFI but every item of evidence we can come up with has now been submitted.

I'm at 98 docs of my 100 allowance so hopefully we've submitted enough now.
  17. Yeah, I agree...the waiting is torture and we’re relatively early on in the process. I don’t know how some of you who lodged in the middle of last year are coping.
[mention=273340]Ingers[/mention] we’re similar to you - been together for nearly 14 years and married for 12 this year. We’ve also got 3 kids (all Aussie citizens). I keep thinking it should be an easy “yes”, but there’s always this thought that I’ve filled something in wrong, or not provided enough evidence. Between waiting for the house to hurry up and sell and the visa to come through, I’m a nervous wreck!!
    Yes totally @w20 , we should be a shoe-in.
My husband is saying "what if we sell up and resign and you don't get your visa" "what if we've missed something" the fact that there is zero contact allowed with the CO at this stage is tough.

My sister's visa took 4 weeks, but that was 10 years ago. She's now a fully fledged Aussie.

I'm running out of things to do to keep me sane.

Anybody know any White Witches or Shaman that can cast a granting a visa spell for us all? [emoji12] [emoji13] [emoji13]
