    Thanks Eddy. Great to hear from fellow applicant. As you have stated din have to do skill assessment, have not attached any financial statement as my unuversity HR contact (the one getting all correspondence) did not mention it. So I assumed I dont need to provide any.

    True. When we applied in March 2018 my wife was carrying. Child was born in India in April2018. So to add child (born overseas during application) on to 186, law allows provision to add directly to existing application without any cost.

    Just adding to that my newborn was born overseas in India. So had to convince department to add child top exisiting application without being added to 457. That just got through on 12Oct so hence the recent request on medicals.

    CO requested for our infant (6months) to take medicals last week (14Oct2018) and we did medicals on 15Oct and the status has changed to further assessment on 16Oct.
