Hi, is there anyone on this forum moving from UK to Tasmania. If so, where to ? Hobart etc. We are looking at end of next year although still waiting for my PR.

I've just joined this group and reading with interest. So in brief. Just lodged offshore. Married 20 years, both kids 11, 15 with dual. Just done medical and police check UK and AFP) Have done wife's ACRO one but not AFP ( She's the sponsor) reading some of these threads is she not requires to give a police check, I thought all sponsors were. ? As per other comments it gave impression that partner visas were being granted at a fairly speedy rate. From what I've read here so far, seems to be a bit more depressing, although realistic.
