This is not totally accurate , Australia gets most of its money from mineral sales , dependant parents pay a lot of tax , I have an Australian bank account and am being charged on the interest at 40% , I have complained to the bank it should be 10% , many of us want to work , isobutane can’t till my 143 comes through then I will be paying tax , if we can afford 100k for the visa costs then many of us will have other funds and pay tax , we are not looking for the Australian people to pay our old age costs most of us will cost the government nothing.

We lodged on the 3rd of July 2015 , yesterday we were invited to submit further documents.

Hello everyone could anyone check with the automated response giving the date being processed for the offshore applicants of the 143 visa please , I just can’t get a reply , the last one I had gave the 12th of June 2015.

Can anyone check the current assessment date I can’t get a reply to a test e-mail the last date I had was 12th June 2015 for the 143 visa we should all post the latest date when we get one I am sure it would help us all

We have an acknowledged visa application dated 3rd of July 2015 , our application was handled by Susan Johnson of get going based in Plymouth , she also handled our daughters however when it never came we spoke to Perth who confirmed no application had been made on behalf of our daughter who was distraught , she went anyway and received sponsorship from her employer and is now an Australian citizen , after a frantic call to Perth our application had been received thank god , I don’t know what that woman had done but our daughter lost 5k. The lesson is only use a Mira registered agent . we have not had any communication from them and have no idea when we will be allocated a case worker , we have sold our house and are going to Melbourne in December we will have to suffer a Holliday or two to Bali , cheap hotels , when we renew our visa in March and when our parent visa is allocated , it’s a big risk but we have three children and a grandchild in Melbourne . can anyone advise us on changing our touristvisa to a longer stay one . bigbobbyg

Thank you I will ring Perth on Sunday night , I believe the lack of any communication is cruel and not Australian ,we have sold our house and booked flights on the 10th of December it looks like Bali , Thailand or New Zealand will be seeing a lot of us next year.

We have notified Perth and been acknowledged that Susan Johnson is no longer acting for us , looking at other people’s times I am very concerned something is wrong , need to know weather to ring them?

Oh dear we were acknowledged 3rd July 2015 , we have had no contact from home affairs some people who were acknowledged after us have been invited to prepare documents and we have had no contact any advice would be welcome.
