  1. @Whites.ukTRT was 11- 14 months, has your application processing estimate changed? This is a much better timeframe
  2. Especially so that they are getting paid a lot of money, mine personally, was more expensive than the nomination and application fee combined. I think they should be held at more scrutiny when they fail to actually do what they are paid too.
  3. Just got this response from IMMI when I sent through an email last week, pretty generic but it's good to at last get a response! Thank You very much for your email. We aim to finalise majority of visa applications at the earliest, however some applications may take longer to process due to various factors, such as internal checks, health and character. Your application is actively being processed. In due course you, or your authorised representative, will be notified if there is anything else required from your side. Please see auto response, which you would have received, when you sent the email below.
  4. Today marks 12 months exactly from when I submitted my application and nomination..No change
  5. Just ignore him, the vast majority of us are in the same boat and I find it really beneficial to see progress of others and actions IMMI are taking.
  6. I hope so, and hope you get yours soon too as you've been waiting a lot longer than most.. I did call the IMMI line the other day and I was lucky in that I didn't have to wait too long, I think it was around 20 minutes. I explained to the Service Agent the situation, and his answer was ''well you can either renew it if you want or see if the CO will request it you just have to wait to hear from them'' he didn't even want my Application reference number to look at mine specifically, it was just a rather generic please wait type response. Just an FYI for everyone on calling them up.
  7. I've just resubmitted a new AFP certificate myself today, my UK Police cert expired late January (assuming the UK one has a validity of 12 months too) and my Health Assessment at the end of the month. Unsure of what to do given my current status on my signature, whether to instruct my MA to contact IMMI, whether to renew my Police and Health clearences, or whether to hope for the best - any suggestions anyone?
  8. Same as me, Status changed immediately from Initial to Further Assessment when uploading my AFP Certificate. Nothing since.
  9. I hope so! I believe the AFP is valid for 12 months. I got mine on 2nd February 2018 and it was resubmitted same day the CO requested it on 23rd November. Reminds me actually, I should probably renew it and reupload. Wouldn't have thought it would of taken over 12 months for it to be actioned!
  10. Hey Mariana, welcome! At the moment, the current processing time is sitting at 10-15 months TRT (Transistional Stream) or 10-14 months DE (Direct Entry) The processing times I think are accurate across the board, of course there are some application outcome timeframes that are abnormal, ie some granted in 5 months, others granted in 20 months. There is a huge backlog of applications from February due to the changes in the Training Benchmark that were implemented then and so a lot of people here have been waiting a significant amount of time. I personally think it will be a lot later in the year before yours will be opened by a CO although I could be wrong
  11. Keeping your body and mind in good shape not only clears your mind from this horrendously long wait but think will also make it that more satisfying when the inevitable day comes that you find out you are here for life! Get another bottle of the good stuff! As Bella says, law of attraction and all! I’ll be getting one myself this weekend hopefully when mine comes through, I will immediately stop what I’m doing, whether I’m at work or out and about. Go home, Get the bottle and a cigar and going to the Opera House to crack it open and celebrate with a view of the glorious Harbour Bridge!
  12. It’s coming mate, sounds like a question of when not if, stay positive and occupied and I think it will come quicker
  13. I think that your Occupation being removed from the Skills list doesn't affect your PR application as you will be eligible under grandfathering rules as a 457 holder pre June 2017
  14. Terrible news Andy , saddened to hear this. Can I ask, did you only submit the Nomination? Or did you submit the Nomination with the Application?
  15. Hoping you hear some positive news soon after your docs have been sent through! The Department called into my work yesterday, asking for a list of all members of foreign staff employed through the 457/TSS . I asked my MA if this was a enquiry made originating from my nomination but he said this was a general request from Immigration.
  16. Ah I see, didn't realize that it could move from Initial Assessment to Finalized - apologies, I was speaking from personal experience
  17. Hey Nora, This should change to Further Assessment shortly after the requested documents have been submitted. Hope it's a quick decision for you!
  18. I'm in a similiar situation Charlotte, I applied for my Nomination initially in June 2017 and it was rejected January 2018, reapplied for the Nomination and Application on 12th Feb. They requested AFP on 23rd november and still waiting on the decision. All in all just under 20 months of waiting.
  19. I was requested Further documents on 23rd November, I sent the requested docs within 20 mins on 23rd November, still waiting.
  20. My PCC's and Medicals come to expiry at the start of Feb. It's a tough one as there are variables in play that you just simply can't predict the outcome of, ie; will they approve it tomorrow? Will they approve it even if your PCC's and Medicals have expired? Will they request updated ones? etc.. I'd always suggest to play it safe and not leave things to chance and give yourself the best chances of a decision ready application when a CO is assigned. My role is ICT Sales Representative. Good luck and vibes to all.
