    Hi,

Can anyone tell me what is the number from which AHC Islamabad contacts ? My wife got 2 miss calls from 051 2855090. Internet search shows that it is a business number in Islamabad.

They call you from 0518355500. Save it in your phone.

A search shows the number u talking abt is prob an old number for state bank of pakistan. Easiest way to find out us call back tomorrow morning. Also be careful of scammers

@Lilly23  Thank you for your reply. So a couple days ago I did send them a feedback on their website saying how unfair it is to us we’ve been waiting for too long and i have received  the same reply “ Department is unable to give you definitive timeframe” AND they also have added “we thank you for your patience and would appreciate if you keep your contact to the department to a minimum, to allow processing of your own and others as quickly as possible.” Just reading this response really made me upset. Even though I explained to them everything nicely how the delay was effecting our relationship, they clearly don’t care. Now i’m thinking I HAVE to talk to my local MP.

I’ve reached out to the MP before but I didn’t go ahead with it because i wanted to wait until 21 month is passed the global timeframe, but now that it’s way beyond that, i want to contact the MP. Fingers crossed. I honestly don’t know why our application is taking too long.

With travelling aspect, i had studies but now i think it’s becoming absolutely compulsory to do something.

Have you visited your spouse? If so how many times?

    Asalamu alaikum everyone,

I've been following this forum for a few months now... I'm sponsoring my partner's visa application. DOL was 14 April 2019... so still a long way to go 😞

He got his biometrics done in April... it said in the letter to take polio certificate but the biometrics people didn't take it. So, should I just upload it to his application or does he need to show it when he goes for medical?

Also, if we have no children... would we still need to show a family composition (something that shows his parents and siblings names?). I'm really confused about whether applicant's get asked for this or not?

Use the link below, create an account with NADRA and apply for the Family registration certificate(FRC) online, pay online using you debit or credit card. They will email you the original copy by Monday or tuesday if you apply today.

Thanks, it means if we do biometric, medical, PCC and polio vaccination soon after lodging of application then chances of speeding up the visa process is high? And is it good to do medical test before asking of Case Officer? Or shall we wait for Case Officer to intimate us for medical test?

So obviously you gota get your biometrics done straight away. Then get your PCC and medical done after that. It is helpful i guess to speed things up but at the same time they might expire before you visa is granted. Remember before you get your medical done you have to get this polio certificate from PIMS Islamabad if u in Islamabad otherwise they wont do your medical.

Is it wise to do medical and biometric test before asking of Case Officer? And upload the result so is there any chance that Visa processing might be speed up as we uploaded all the required documents including PCC, medical tests etc?

You pretty much have to do biometrics straight away its mandatory to identify you. Then PCC and medical is totally up to you when you want to get it done. I personally think it doesnt make a difference. Expiry of either you PCC or medical(whichever is longest) will determine your last date of entry if the visa is granted

If I am unable to submit me outstanding documents within 28 days will it be an issue ?? They asked for NADRA issued birth certificate from Union council n the guy who has to sign is on leave from past 2 weeks I don't think so he will be coming on his duty before eid n embassy asked me to submit documents til 6th June

You can contact your case officer your self or ask your agent to do it and ask for extension. They will give you extension

Hi everyone. I’ve been reading through this forum for a long time. I am currently going through a really bad phase myself and it’s extremely painful. Just going to share my timeline for those who might relate to me. I am the sponsor living in Australia, my husband lives in Pakistan.

    DOL: 15th July 2017

Interview & Medical request: March 2018

Ever since then there’s no correspondence from them aside from a few auto emails saying Your application is progressing. I also did visit my husband in Pakistan August 2018 to dec 2018. We uploaded our photos together and when i came back in March I got the interview call but my husband didn’t get any calls. I was so happy that his application is progressing however I was wrong because from then on until now there’s no progress. it’s been a total of above 22 months since we have lodged and 14 months since the interview and medical so now his medical examination is most certainly expired 😢 Throughout this entire time from march 2018 until now i’ve tried every single thing. I’ve been in contact with them every other month basically. I kept asking them about the progress to which they only replied Mandatory checks are being completed please be patient. So my husband applied for visit visa in February 2019 as well but he was rejected because of no travel history etc. I then called the immigration feedback line and told them my formal complaint regarding the delay to which I got an email from the Senior Manager in islamabad immi department saying we know the delay is causing you concern but department checks are going on & we can’t give you a definitive timeframe.

I had been seeing a psychologist because of the stress this delay has caused me and my psychologist then wrote a letter giving out my personal health details and mentioning how i can’t travel to see my husband because i am now my mother’s sole career and my husband has been rejected a visit visa either so we have no option and my husband then emailed that letter and requested for priority processing however... we have been disappointed again.. they’ve sent us a generic email again saying that checks are going on and if there’s any update they will let us know.

at this point we don’t honesty know what is going on. There’s a bit of citizenship delay for me too but everyone has told me that doesn’t affect this because I am a permenant resident so i can sponsor him. There’s no such complications in our application. we haven’t been previously married or anything i just don’t understand what’s causing the delay. we have not seen eachother since dec 2018 & with this state of application i don’t think they will finalis our application even by 24th month which is qhat most people say that by 2 years it does get finalised that’s the maximum. we are only a month and a half away from hitting 2 years and still nothing.....

I feel for you! That is such a long wait! We have been apart 14 months but its only been 8 1/2 months since lodgement date. Some days its hard to go on. I have also visited my hubby twice (as he had a visit visa rejected). I hope you get yoyr visa soon!

    2. Original passport and ID card.

    3. Attested copy of passport (photo page and the one next to it) and ID card.

    4. Proof of residence in Islamabad. (Electricty or gas bill or home lease or allotment letter with your name, if you dont have anything with your name on it just bring the electricty or gas bill of the house you living in, bill has to be in your fathers or mothers name if not yours.

    5. 1 passport size photo attached on the form (Blue or White background).

    6. Bring all of this to Islamabad Police Citizen service Centre F-6/1 Islamabad. (Opposite and on the right side of Mr Books and Nandos, with the signals, they are constructing level 2 of the centre so it looks like you cant go there but level 1 is operational and a very comfortable place to sit and wait).

    7. Take a token and wait and then they will fill in all the details and you can pick up the Certificate after 3 days from the same centre, call 051-9201522 to confirm before picking up.

    8. NOC if you are government offical.

Please note: Some of the information on the form is old so just fill up the form how I montioned above and it will be accepted.
Also this is the new way of getting the police check in Islamabad and alot of the local police station doesnt even know of this process and they will just waste your time and send you to main branch in G11.

    Hope this helps 🙂

Taking the form is necessary, it just helps them write the information in their system which they can ask you anyway

True $900/$1800 isn't problem.  Its waiting time and lawyer fee both are too big. I wish there was option for double fee half time.

Immigration need screening,  but why government don't make AAT better for offshore applicants.

I know they have to do something about the processing times for the visa itself and the AAT appeals

  11. 40 minutes ago, musmanasghar said:

yeah 900 out of 5600 is a peanut. considering the wastage of time and money. you do not need to apply for half fee refund. AAT sent the instructions along with the decision record. i just replied with my account details and refund was there in 2 weeks time.

$900 peanut is better than $0. Also if you just had a decision in you favour getting a refund is an added bonus. Remember not everyone has got that much money lying around to pay the government. I know the time and actual amount for the visa is ridiculous but guess what it ended well for you. Good to know you dont have to apply for the refund.

  12. 17 minutes ago, musmanasghar said:

its not court, its Administrative appeal Tribunal. and proceedings are not easy they take time and effort which is 1800AUD for Appeal fee and 5000AUD for lawyer.

case officer was a special breed and she rejected her visa on a clarical mistake (clearly done by our Union Council) and rather than asking about clarification she rejected the application.

AAT decided the positive outcome in less than 10 minutes.

Also if you win the appeal you can get half of the AAT fee refunded back to you but you got to apply for it. So $900 refund if get the decision in your favour.

Anyone who applied in September 2018, Have you guys receive any updates from AHC,

I have lodged the application in September 2018 front loaded all the documents including Medical and PCC?

Haven't receive any correspondence from the embassy yet?? So frustrating

We applied 19 sep 2018. Wanted to lodge decision ready application but it wouldnt let my agent generate a HAP ID from online, says medical not required. Also i am not getting my pak police check done yet because if i get it now then they will ask for a police check from today up until the CO is assigned. Also No interview call and no generic email.
