Evening, had a surprise this week, after being told by my GP and the doctor performing my medical that I would fail (due to a heart murmur) and have to wait until I have seen a cardiologist/had test done ect. I was informed that my medical cleared a couple of days ago! So today we were told that our visa’s have been granted, both 309 and 100! I may not have been commenting on here much but it’s been a great help watching others go through this process so cheers! Applied 30th September 2018 RFI for medical and police checks 14th February 2019 Medical completed 4th March 2019 Police checks sent through 11th March 2019 309 and 100 visa granted 13th March 2019

Great to see so much movement out of London last week, congrats to everyone who got the big email! Quick question, has anyone had any issues with failing the medical? Unfortunatley I fainted/collapsed the other evening, honestly probably just stood up too quick, went to the GP the next day and they found a heart murmur. This in itself I’m not too concerned about as most of the time they are entirely inocent. Had my medical today and of course had to mention the heart murmur, the doctor has said that the medical board at Australia house will probably ask for this to be investigated. My GP has referred me to a cardiologist. I’m hoping this doesn’t take too long to schedule an appointment but I’m not overly optimistic... I was just wondering if anyone had a good idea of what you can actually be rejected for (in regards to the medical)? And also if anyone has had the experience of being asked for more medical testing and how the process went? I’m assuming that it will add a fair bit of time... Hope to see some more movement for the rest of you this coming week!

Evening all, Long time lurker here... I have been using this thread as reference for a while and thought it only fair to add my info as and when anything happened for others. Maried to an Australian citizen (by decent) for 2 years, together for 6 years with one daughter. Apllying for both myself and my daughter’s visa. Applied 28th of September 2018 with an agent. RFI 14th of February for medical and police checks. So hopefully not too long now... Moving to Gold Coast/Brisbane area. Hopefully this means a bit of movement out of London for everyone else tomorrow!
