Congratulations @Katiebobbles!
Anyone else starting to freak out about what they missed and why theirs hasn't come through yet? I'm having a mild panic attack!

Congratulations @Relieved. Just be the best email to open!
Fingers crossed for you @Bob Marley. You're on a similar timeline to lots of us here so hopefully we'll get our news soon!

It’s got to be soon surely?!?!
i wonder what I’ll have in my life post-visa..?? That’s right.... a job!!
A job and an 820/801 application
Oh don't! At least take a week off between visa application hell! Although I do feel there'll need to be some sort of spreadsheet "passing of the torch/knighthood" that happens once yours is approved!

You are in good company! Between me and the other half I think we've got the forum and emails covered 24/7!

Lol @Charbok perfectly. I've got notifications for the forum set up too so I just alternate between checking my emails and seeing if anyone else has been granted.

Think it is related to the medical check approval, but can’t 100% say as we didn’t get an official document saying that was the date I passed the medical, but it was about a week after my medical.Grrr, my little sister is now getting married on 5th July meaning I'll be staying in the UK until the week after the wedding. My medical was done on 23rd June!

Guess What! You’re right!
We’ve just received the golden email! Our agent has sent through an email last night..always nice to wake up to good news!
It’s all very surreal and still hasn’t sunk in!.. though I’m sure it’s going to get real very quickly!
We need to make our first entry before the 17th July - hopefully heading to Victoria ..
Thank you all for keeping me sane and keeping our hope up during all this waiting x
Really hoping yours is the next ones to come through xx
Huge congratulations! So happy for you...gives all hope too since they seem to be officially back to work!
Out of curiosity, why 15th July? Is that when your medical/police checks expire?

Hi guys, we were contacted on 11.11.18 with a request for further information...sponsors UK and Aus Police checks and a certified copy of my full birth certificate (which I had to order...didn't realise the one I had wasn't a full one!). All submitted and went into further assessment on 29.11.18 so back to the waiting game.
Thanks to everyone who mentioned being asked for police checks, it meant we already had ours ready for when the request came through! Saved loads of time.

I always think there's no rhyme or reason to how they work. I really hope they start to triage low risk/safe/concrete applications again.
I hope so too. We've been together for 4 years, living together for over 3, married for 1. No kids/dependants, hubby is Aussie (from birth) and I've sent plenty of straightforward evidence along with clear medical and ACRO. I honestly don't understand what could possibly be complicated about that!? I get the feeling, especially from Aussie news that it's politics that's holding everything up. I've even heard of a politician bragging that he has slowed down entry.

Fingers cross for yours coming through soon. After the massive increase in waiting times this week I'm more than a bit concerned!

I just want to clarify - Was the "immediate prompt for medical" the standard letter that appears in everyone's Immi once you lodge, or was it an email from a Case Officer asking you to book your medical? When you apply online, you get an immediate acknowledgement and also a letter appears in the Immi account explaining about the medical, but this is not the same as receiving an email from a Case Officer asking for the medical (as they will email you normally requesting meds and police checks at the same time).....
When a Case Officer takes on your account, the account normally changes from Received to Being Assessed or something like that, then In Progress then Granted.
Hi Beffers,
No, not a case officer contact just the automated prompt/standard letter on the immi-account. My heart sank this morning when I saw the change to the processing times, it seems the run of quick ones is well and truly over. Account still just says received so I can't see it moving any time soon. Also a little sad that at 21-26 months as the wait stands I'll have to pay for my medical and ACRO again as they'll be well out of date but I suppose that's the risk you run with front loading your application. I'm sure there's thousands in the same boat so to speak.

Hi all,
Just wondered if anyone has had anything granted in the last few weeks? I applied via my Immi-account and received an immediate prompt to book my medical. My timeline is below, I've heard there have been some really fast grants for UK applicants from the beginning of this year but everyone seems to have gone very quiet. We were naively hoping we might be able to move around October this year. Application just says received and I received an automated email response to confirm the same.
Thanks and fingers crossed!
Lodgement Date - 30.05.18
Medical Completed - 22.06.18
Medical Cleared - 25.06.18
ACRO uploaded - 06.07.18

Unless they are going through RFI by date now too. In which case Katiebobbles was the last RFI (that we know of) from the last week of October and onto the November ones soon! Fingers crossed!! Maybe there's hope yet!
