  1. Well done CEP for all your hard work on the spreadsheet and best wishes for your new life , job etc. thanks for your support and all the rest on this forum. We fly on weds.
  2. Hi all who have been on here in last few months. So glad as you say that we have mostly all made it through and about to start another episode of our lives. We move out of house in Haslemere tomorrow, 2 and bit weeks visiting family and friends to say cherrio and then us and our dog leave on 27th March for Perth! Thanks for all the moral support and best wishes.
  3. Hi, anyone got any info regarding our British TV working in WA please?
  4. Hi all, really hoping CEP, gemtrae and charbok you get your Visa grant this week. Apart from my RFI I didn't add anything though I had uploaded alot of info at start. Keep warm, this week to those still here and stay cool out in Oz!
  5. Hi Nicci, I understand the feeling overwhelmed, there is a lot to get through!! As for our 4 legged pals I booked for it all to be handled by Pet air UK, they came highly recommended by our vets who had had experience of clients doing it all themselves and doing it through the company. There is a lot to ensure you have exactly right and for me the peace of mind that it should all be in place is priceless. I was also made aware that getting a slot to fly books up quite far in advance and I actually had Jasper (the dog) booked before I booked ours. Hope that helps but keep in touch, Heather
  6. Thanks CEP, fingers crossed your next! Going to West coast, Perth initially but not sure where we will settle. May travel around a bit. Hubby is originally from Brisbane but he wants to stay in the West. All a big adventure really!
  7. Hi all, I'm in! Been having a few computer/ email problems so checked immi account this evening to find the word finalised on my status. Bit overwhelming but very relieved, husband is delighted, he is going home after 35 years here! Thanks all for your support and I hope others on similar time scale will also get good news this week. We fly 9 weeks tomorrow as does our dog! Leaving 23 yr old son here so slight mixed feelings!
  8. No, still checking emails far too often!! Delighted for everyone else who has received their grants recently and fingers crossed they still keep coming soon for the rest of us. Great having the support of this forum and of course the spreadsheet, cheers all.
  9. Hi Katie, Britannia Reeves. House sold last summer but been renting it back for 6 months. Some clearing out has happened but more needs to go! Flip from being totally overwhelmed to excited and quite rational about it all!
  10. Thanks CEP,, glad to see others are waiting with me! Flights booked for 27th March! Jasper our dog goes the same day with Pet air UK. Time is going to fly and there is a lot to do, would be so nice to know the visa was in place also. Happy new year to all of you also waiting and heres to new adventures in 2019 and beyond! We are heading to Perth although my husband is from Brisbane originally and I know his plan is to do a road trip to visit them!!
  11. Hi, all great to see the visa's being granted. I applied 10 may and have just been asked for my husbands UK Police check (he's Australian, lived here since 1984 and wants to go back home) as well as his travelling history over past 10 yrs. Heading north of Perth initially although husband is originally from Brisbane. All getting a bit closer! I Hope!
  12. No. Another question. If one goes out on a holiday visa and is then granted the partner visa how long do you have to leave country and accept the new visa?
