Hi guys,
One of front staffs at my workplace just got nomination refuse. The reason from immigration is company can't afford to pay her in next 2 years. Company has sponsored a few of staffs including FOHs & cooks. So does it mean that the rest of us will get refuse for our nomination sooner or later?
she was waiting for 21months & my application is about 1 year as a cook and no news yet.
Hi,
There is a hope for you mate.
A similar position’s in a restaurant a cook and front staff both applied 187. FOH staff the lady got refused her nomination but Cook’s visa granted under the same owner. There might be some fact sheet works on this decision made.
Good luck !

Hi Pomz! I have a question not sure if anyone having similar difficulty to understand.
My partner is on depending visa from me and she has been going and back to Australia many times last 2 years.
Do you guys think that, this makes delay to our application?
We have been waiting for 27 months not even one word from immigration.
My MA saying she is the second applicant so There is nothing to worry about.
OMG ! This is a massive blow.. 27 months waiting ! Can’t believe it’s happening. Call to immigration to make sure they don’t forget you and your application.
pick up the phone and keep calling them
Good luck !

Same happened to me, after approval of SBS in first and second year no one working there on 457 visa, i was first who start working in last year and my lawyer said u only need from first 457 was employed there, so we only put for last year and case was refused straight away without asking any clarification, so guys be very careful about training benchmark and update all detail before asking, wish u best of luck everyone.
Thanks for sharing your experience mate.
now where you stand? What’s happening with your case?

Mate that would never happen. It would be impossible to even maintain GDP output if Australia didn't allow skilled workers in.
The 2030 forcasts are literally built on at least maintaining net migration numbers!
It is safe to say it should be happened but the govt trend and out come of this move might encourage them to continue apply this hard rules. But obviously migration number will continue to increase through partner and parent or family stream. And even if i agree with you that to maintain the GDP rate they got to consider migration in but the process will be selective, harder and best skilled applicant will be given a chance which indicates us now a days considering the fact that bring back to us.

your welcome,
I have tried to access my nomination to check my MA. Unfortunately, I have found out that he made big mistakes concerning training benchmark (no advice given to company about RTO-s) that might lead to immediate refusal. That is why I wanted to check his work, but no access possible. You have to be very careful when you choose MA.
Hi Tocsa,
Then what happened? Did you fix it? What is the story?

Just now, tocsa said:
Hi,
no, you can not access your nomination as it might contain confidential company data. You can only see your application.
Thanks mate

Financial statement for 2017
BAS for the last 3 quarters and
Provide submission and evidence that the nominated position continues to be genuinely
needed in the regular, ongoing business activity of the employer; or has in fact contributed to
the business as was proposed in the 457 nomination application, such as evidence that the
nominee is actively undertaking the duties of the position on a full-time basis
I hope is going to be helpful to fix your applications and maybe save some processing time! Finger crossed

I agree that it shouldn't matter where you are from and should be based on skill only.
However....
When it comes to immigration and the department - your country you come from DOES come into consideration.
Sadly that's just a fact. Thanks bro for good explanation. Did not know before.

What is your occupation and are you from a High or Low risk country?
I don’t really get it when people talking about HR/LR country. A scientist can apply from High risk country, does it really matter for him to get a good job in australia? Or a low qualified applicant can apply from low risk country, will he get good a job in Australia?
Bro, My point is not meant to be flushing you but really would like to know why this exist while a bunch of skilled people around.

I can see many applicants who applied after September 2017 are so much worried about their file and are so tensed
But how about people like us who applied in 2016 and still waiting for a single response from immigration.
I think we r the unluckiest people who r waiting from a long time n still don’t know what gonna happen.
I must say Australian Immigration sucks
I am feeling hopeless now.
Either approve or reject my file
Atleast do something///
It is so sad to hear that 2016 applicant still around with empty hand. It’s not fair. I applied on Nov 2017 but still want immigration to finalise the backlog applicant. I have no idea why they are not following the que, may be they are taking based on occupation on demand which they need at the moment. Assuming It can be the part of their strategies and policies.
stay cool bro, soon you will have your golden mail which is not far away.

Hi Guys,
one quick question, as we know from 1july workers weekend penalty rate is going to revoked. And my question is what would happen our salary which is $54000. Is it decreasing too? This minimum pay was set by immigration now are we going to get paid less than that?
