Yeah. I applied after the changes to the 457 regulations, so I feel think I'm in a weird gap between the old and new rules...

It seriously seems like there's no rhyme or reason. This may be a dumb question (newbie on here), but are 457s processed with more frequency?

Oh no! My application as a Marketing Specialist (LR country, Direct Entry Onshore, Approved Sponsor) was submitted 24 Oct 2017 and now I'm guessing I should buckle up for a long journey? I've been in Australia for almost 7 years now so I was hoping that would help my case, but I'm guessing that I shouldn't rely on that after looking through this forum...
