Congrats to you HarrisL16, what a great thing to celebrate! Well done I noticed that your application was lodged on 28/4/2015 but official was still assessing up to 20/4/2015. How would it happen? No offence to you. It is my current frustration and concern. It seems a few applications lodged beyond 20/4/2015 have been granted also all of those were onshore at the time of 2nd payment request. I don’t understand how Immi processes the applications? Still in timely manner though? It appears that this is not the case at all

Yes Tina agreed. Seems they are very tough on that and not negotiable at all I reckon the current processing system at PVC needs to be approved/ changed. It is not practical at all. I understand it is a previledge to have an invitation email to get docs prepared in advance however PVC also needs to have a flexiable procedure/solution to those who got all docs completed early than others as long as it is still accep within a reasonable timeframe. Apparently they seem to hold a few completed applications until all up to 36 months. Such a ridiculous arrangement. I don’t know what the real theory/rules behind the scenes but what I know at present that there are a few applications lodged beyond 20/4/2015 have been settled. Why they still keep saying “currently we are assessing applications lodged up to 20/4/2015”. Come on! Am I a child? Just be honest to list the actual processing date hey roomies Sorry for my frustration and being grumpy have a nice weekend cheers peter

At present, what PVC team frustrates me is the fact that a few applications beyond 20/4/2015 have been contacted by CO or requested for 2nd visa payment. I got a reply this afternoon and the lady from PVC still claimed strongly that current assessment was 20/4/2015 and none of applications later than that date have been assessed by CO, which is not true at all. It is so obvious that we all share the progress of our own applications and we have noticed that there are a few granted applications!! I am really getting upset about so called “assess in a time manner” is it lie?

It is getting really slow at present. It has been another full month since last update on 13/3/2018. As far as I know there are a great number of applications who have done all required documents such as a completion of AOS etc and were lodged after 20/4/2015 have not heard anything from PVC team yet. However, interestingly one of applications I know, which was lodged on 26/4/2015 was granted TODAY. I am getting confused totally. Any idea roomies?? cheers

I got a reply from PVC team 1 after I sent an email to ask them why it has been another 2 weeks no update since 13/03/2018. also I asked them why currently processing time becomes slow. In the reply email, it is said that currently PVC are receiving a lot of 103 applications switched to 143, which 103 has a priority to be assessed according to the policy there. that is a probably reason why PVC have not reached our application yet.

That reply was not auto one because there was a person's name and position number listed at the bottom of the email. It was Saturday, which surprised me a bit. Almost another 2 weeks since lase update from PVC team 1 on 13/03/2018 What is going on at the moment?!

Tina Have you contacted PVC team 1 by email? A phone call is useless I sent an email a few days ago to request a feedback on the progress and got a reply Saturday saying it is currently assessing up to 20/4/2015 and asked to wait until ours is due. I personally reckon you should shoot them an email instead to calling hotline, Your case is overdue now Good luck and hope all going well with you very soon

The one lodged on 9/5/15 being requested 2nd VAC was purely luck. As far as I am aware, there was another application lodged at 1/4/2015 has been granted a few weeks ago! (Not in the forum) however most of applications lodged in April are waiting for CO and 2nd. I think it is purely the current management of visa 143 in term of the proceeding period at PVC Team1 . It has been notified on DIBP website that current processing time for 143 is 38-39 months therefore ours will not be released to be finalised too soon I reckon. You are not the only one in this situation. I bet there are heaps of applications including mine are waiting for the next step (even thought all docs including AOS completed ) After weeks, there must be a huge patch to be released. Towards the financial year, DIBP also wants to speed up. We are just those who are stuck btw

What can you do at this moment?? Being depressed can let PVC assess your case right now?? Be patient and you will be contacted by CO. You have done what you could. Sorry for you There are a quite few applications like yours being held by PVC and not ready to release for final assessment. We cant do anything at the moment and frustration only makes us feel worse and not worth to us. It is not fair. We are currently waiting for applications lodged in Jan Feb March finalised first then PVC will consider ours.
