Hi guys, it's Friday again today and still no news. Has anyone had any updates?

I don’t think you’ll be affected. Don’t worry. It’s not relevant till 1/7/18.

I didn't receive any confirmation email or whatsoever. Did the medical center automatically send to DIBP or we have to request it from them?

I'm so jealous. I'm only a few days after you.

Btw, how did you get the result for medical and submitted to DIBP? We didn't hear anything from the Medical center after doing all the tests.

We’ll have 3 months to get 143 visa done before the new AOS applied.

Maybe you should give them a call? No movement for 143 since 13th March.

Thanks Alan for the correction. Sorry I messed it up with 173.

See... There are so many different reasons that we don't even know. Btw, I think I made wrong decision by applying straight to 143, should have gone through 103 then 143. I just don't understand, 103 parents majority of them are already in Australia, why they get priority to assess first whereas 143 is paying more application fee and longer waiting time and has less priority.

Then they would say the average processing time would be 38-39 months as what I was advised when I tried to call them the other day.

My lodgement date was 13/4/2015. It's within their processing range, do you think I can email them and ask?

@Ray and Geri ~ how many days for them to reply to your email? Their email is very confusing. Why they said they are officially assessed up to 9/4/15 but their auto reply email said 20/4/15.

Thanks Sharon but I want to know if they have received my docs not the processing date.

I don’t think immi will have the time to go through our posts. ? @Ray and Geri - you better contact immi to see what they say.

I think you should ask now. Don’t wait. I remember read posts from someone has the same situation. They got the preparation email after chasing up. Don’t leave it till they assess your application. Send them an email and ask asap.

What you mean by not hearing from them in 35 months? Did you receive the Preparation of documents email? Maybe the email address is incorrect or it went to Junk Mail? We are living in Australia not some communist countries. We have the right to ask. I know Government is Government but Government staffs are still human and still can make mistake. As long as we don’t corrupt the system, it shouldn’t be a problem. I suggest you should send them an email to ask about your situation. It will take at least 3 months for you to complete the AOS and other docs.

I don't really know what is going on now. There would be useless if the Immi update the processing date and application lodged before should not be assessed.
