Hi guys, just wanna ask one question in regard to the relationship between the employer and employee. Can we just stop working for our employer straight after the 186 visa has been granted.

Hi all, my PR was granted earlier today. Restaurant Manager. TRT. High Risk. Nomination lodged: 06/04/17 and approved: 24/03/18. Visa lodged: 07/04/17 and granted today 04/04/18. New AFP requested together with wife’s english evidence on 13/03/17. New AFP was submitted the same day as i have followed this forum and therefore have applied in advance. My wife didnot have enough English so we decided to pay the 2nd VAC. We paid that on 31/03/18. One more thing, i am not in Australia at the moment as i have tracelled back home on 22/03.

Hi, mine was open too yesterday. They asked for new AFP and my wofe’s english evidence. Submitted AFP on the same day, status changed to further assessment. restaurant manager, TRT nomination 06/04/2017 visa 07/04/2017. hopes all april files will be assessed soon.

my first call got disconnected too. Called the 2nd time and got that answer

Called them just now and got the same, boring answer. You file is still in the queue and has not yet been allocated to the case officer. Then asked them how much longer it would take for my file to be allocated. They said they can not tell exactly when because there are still files from Apr 2016. Hopeless.

Hi mate, i am exactly as in your situation. Applied in April 2017, no news. I have planned to go overseas early Feb. needed to cancel my trip and change to late April. My concern is if my application is refused, can i still get back to Aus with BVB? Any advises would be appreciated.
