No celebrating just yet but I do have a rather expensive bottle of Champagne waiting to pop. i've already decided that to celebrate Im going to go skiing in the Victoria Alps and then In August take my partner to Hobart for weekend.

Mate sometimes the more niche ones will just get pulled out. We have seen it before. 

I hypothisise the reason they are currently going through by occupation is to get an efficiency dividend by processing in bulk. The smaller occupations will just get picked off as they change areas of focus.

This is my own informed prediction by the way - not fact by any stretch of the imagination.

Such a relief to see some movement! I will be on the forum a little longer yet - can't get rid of me that easy! Hopefully the visa will come today but if not thats ok too. As long as something is happening Im happy! 

You are in a chef from Aug 17 right? As soon as we start seeing chef's being processed again then it will be a month or two for you I reckon max. They are clearly working through it by occupation!

Going to be honest. If they are not willing to show all documents then it sounds pretty dodgy and you wont get the visa. Cant expect them to grant a visa when the business is not willing to completely disclose their position...
