Hi guys, I just realised I made a mistake. Though the DIBP homepage it says you can submit paper application : Use a paper application if you: are eligible for a fee concession are part of the Australian Defence Force are a stateless person do not have a passport have not travelled in or out of Australia since July 1990. However I didnt match any criteria above but I submitted paper application in March and attended the test on 29 June 2017. Would they reject my application eventually?

Thanks Themaccas It seems the DIBP started issuing approval letter for people who applied in March or April 2017. Time lineLodge 16 march 2017 (online) Brisbane Aknowledgement 16 march 17Test date email recieved 5 April Test Date 7 june 2017 (passed 100%)Approval letter received 6 November 2017 (approved 30 October 2017) Eligible: 27 January 2017Applied online – 22 April 2017 (Wife had to apply on paper)Acknowledgement – 22 April 2017Extenuating Circumstances Given – 19 June 2017. This was due to my wife's immi account saying she was not eligible to apply when she was. We were waiting for this to be resolved when they changed the rules on 20th April 2017. Our issues were well noted on their systems. When they changed the rules we lodged a complaint and also asked for assistance from our Federal MP.Email Confirmation on Test Appointment – 22 September 2017Test Date – 13 October 2017 – PassedApproval Letter – 6 November 2017 (dated 31 October 2017)Ceremony Letter – Waiting Ceremony – Waiting Both were approved on 6 Nov 2017.

Thanks Sheila I called DIBP 3 times. Last Friday I received an Email from one of their staff members saying sending emails or asking for updates again and again won't speed the processing time. I could tell he was extremely unhappy. Now I am afraid of 'bothering' them any more.

Hi all, My timeline is as below: Applied 27/3/2017 Exam date 29/6/2017 (Parramatta) Approval letter ??? Ceremony ???? It's been 130 days since exam. Would I receive the ceremony notification without approval letter?
