    they just requested the Australian police check but we re applied for the uk ones too just in case, we didn't want them to come back to us saying they want the uk ones too and have to wait for them coming through and pushing everything back again. I've submitted both to them so fingers crossed

    hi, they requested more police checks for me and my girlfriend as they had expired (after telling me we didn't need to re apply for them), also more evidence of my self employment in the uk. I'm a carpenter

    I applied in September 2016 and my application is being processed now after they requested more information. hopefully in a week or two ill have it

    how long have people been waiting with their status showing "assessment in process" ?

    my nomination was approved on the 7/12/17 after waiting 15 months and they requested more police checks for the visa, they have given me until the 4th of January to get them in. I applied for the police check the same day and they have a back log so it won't be here until mid January. is it possible to ask for an extension to get the requested information in does anybody know ?

    anybody any idea of the waiting time between the nomination being approved and the visa being granted ? my nomination was approved today so fingers crossed the visa comes through fast I applied in September 2016

    hi, myself and my girlfriend applied for our pr on 30/9/16 and we have sill no response. we have called a few times but no luck. has anyone else that is a carpenter applied around the same time as us ? I'm tearing my hair out waiting its almost 13 months ! thanks Robin
