The conditions says an associated child must EITHER be under 18 years of age OR 18-23. Notice that says the maximum age is 23, not 27.

If you are older than 23, then you can only be classified as dependent if you have some mental or physical problem that prevents you from working.

This rule changed in 2016.  If your parents had a temporary visa granted before 2016, then the old rules may still apply to them and you can be included.

Rules of dependence was changed in 2016 so it won't apply we were told our application will be assessed in 20 months at the time of lodgement I was 21 so it did not affect my application

    Hi guys,

I don't see any official tracking page somewhere, so I've made this spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1qdUJtvi43-4Ma76iDQWtT3Dv2KK4HxA1lvQzeAB2MOE

I've included your username there. If you don't want to be included somehow, please let me know.

Please feel free to edit or make suggestion. I'll try to populate more data later.

Mod, if this is not allowed, please remove this post.

    Cheers

    Good job mate ♥️

    Hi All,

I have question about parent visa queue (non contribution). Sorry if it sounds cruel, but due to very long waiting period it is possible that applicant died. I don't thing that relatives carry to inform Aus government about this. So does queue goes to next applicant is such case?

Seriously this concern was wandering all Time when I was in India.

Hi all, Got the visa Friday 6/7/18. A couple of hours after leaving Australia for Thailand.

They gave us 7 days to book during school holidays and send them the itinerary. So no pressure there. Stressful to the end.!

Best wishes to all and perhaps never more appropriate is the phrase. " Keep calm and carry on" pommmmmmm.....

Right now I am reading my visa grant letter...........

Yes - we were just told they were busy and we had to wait.  Also submitted a written formal complaint at the end of April and was told that we would have response within 10 working days - we heard nothing!  Another phone call  to follow that up gave us the same response - you just have to wait!!?

You should contact Local member of parliament

No, nothing here.  22 weeks since our AoS paperwork was submitted and still waiting for contact by Centrelink.  Already used up 5 months of our 12 month validity for police checks and medicals and nothing even remotely in sight.

    Hi Zelda,

Did you ring on that number of grievance which I gave you?

    Hi Tidang,

Did you/ your parent receive an email from PVC AFTER submitting your AoS acceptance letter? (See my post)

As Cat Lady says, she submitted her acceptance letter last May (2017) but had to wait until September for visa! However, if you look at her dates it was still processed within 36 months of lodgement - not sure what the processing times were forecast back then.

It will happen - but we just have to keep waiting!

    M

    Hi Merry,

You mean new f.y 2018-19 not sure in July but it would be like September, If suppose they arrange in chronically So it will be Feb @ant111 then you @Pertenhall @Tidang And many more at glance, most of the April lodgers 143 have asked for 2nd Vac so I gotta resist myself till September October ?
