DE applications are 2-3 months behind transition applications. They have just started opening August. Just keep an eye on the spreadsheet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It is in the right month because you take into consideration the visa application not the nomination.

That could be right though. The timeline says 75% of the applications processed after 9 months. It means some of them will be processed quicker.

As soon as you apply, a Bridging Visa A is granted. It stays in stand by until your current visa expires. Once your current Visa expires, the Bridging kicks in Automatically. The bridging Visa carries the same working rights as your current visa.

For some countries though, it could take more than 28 days to get your criminal records. That can be a risky move.

Hi JonnyP, I believe this is a question for your migration agent... I would rather be safe with this kind of scenario.

This is true but the applications on this spreadsheet are such a tiny proportion of the total amount of visa being submitted that's is hard to say if it is a trend or just bad luck... One DE from September got granted already but none for August. I don't know and we will probably never know anyway.

I don't know, I am just trying to understand why some application take 6 months for DE while it can take a lot longer for most of them. Every time I ask thought, it is always offshore. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It is hard to say really. Applications on the spreadsheet are only a tiny fraction of the people applying out there... You could be right or it is bad luck. Almost impossible to tell...
