  1. Could be but not this case - the nomination was September 2016 and he has filled the spreadsheet in the wrong month.
  2. A DE has been approved on the 23 of March 2017 for October 2016. It doesn't look right to me - please @Maurizio Dal Col check your dates and make sure they are correct so that we don't confuse people. If dates are right well then congrats! Thanks
  3. Good morning guys!! Congratulation for the PR and let's hope in lots of approvals this week!!
  4. Last DE application was approved in Feb 2017 - was a July 2016 application.. I really hope they keep doing overtime - I know this is very stressful for us and also for them..
  5. Hi@Zee, this is just an analysis that I did based on the spreadsheet and DIBP website (I can be wrong). - based on the website, they have a cap limit for every occupation. This means that if you are a "cook" they might have a cap limit of 10 (per financial year). Once 10 applications are granted and the cap limit is reached, you have to wait the following financial year. - Based on the above, while if you were "cook 11th application/April 2016" you have to wait next financial year, someone else who has a different occupation/same month (April 2016), for which the cap limit has NOT been reached yet, will be approved before "cook 11th application". Please don't take my analysis as 100% correct.
  6. Hi @Aussiepr, what do you need to know? All we can say about DE is that it is not de-prioritized but because takes longer their are behind when compared to TR. Also depending on your occupation your application can be processed before or after a certain DE application of the same month. What is your timeline?
  7. What scares me is the remaining "10% of total applications". Maybe this is why some people are still waiting from 2015. Yes some visas timelines are just absurd, even if I understand that A - they are understaffed and B- they need to make sure every application meets all the requirements. Based on this link, it looks to me that every year - financial year - there is a cap limit for 186 visas (in this case) for each occupation. And, if the cap for occupation "XXX" is reached for 2016 FY then we need to wait the following financial year. https://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Brin/Fami/Capping-and-queuing
  8. Thanks @jess6. At least now we know that: - TR and DE are (apparently) two different queues. - If your occupation is "XXX" TR, then it will probably be approved before same occupation "XXX" but DE. This is because DE takes a bit longer due to the extra docs we need to provide (compared to TR). - If they are processing occupation "XXX" TR for September 16 maybe they are still processing February 16 DE for the same occupation "XXX" Not sure if it makes any sense but trying to understand how the processing method works is the only way to manage my stress.
  9. Thanks guys for sharing the information. 186 DE - 9/11 months 186 TR - 8/9 months Not sure about you guys but I was expecting something more. I was expecting to know how the application are processed, based on occupation? TR/DE? LR/HR?
  10. What does he/she say? this is just so unfair.. I really hope the DIBP starts giving more information on the processing time. Also I can see on the spreadsheet that there are few TR and DE still waiting from 2015 and beginning 2016.. @Badaich87 do you think the longer processing time for your application is due to the fact that you are HR? How long did your 457 visa take to be granted? Sorry - so many questions. I am just trying to understand how the processing time works.
  11. Please Guys note that @Jose had his nomination granted today. Also, they have required form 80 for visa. It is a September application.
