I am just curious, how possible the employer could waiting for a worker to start work for more than a year, especially those offshore applicants or apply their applications step by step? So they fill someone temporary for the position till that ideal person to get their visa then fire the temporary one and things change every minutes . It doesn't make any sense at all.

omg , last month was 12-13 mths and I fiannlly reached 12 months , now it is one more month. so when would it be ended?

Yes , 2 mths gone and heard nth about April applications. I think the reason must be the new policy and it is new financial year, thus they slow down. it used to be 2 -2.5 months to process 1 month applications. I guess I will heard any news by June or July the latest. I am going madly, thinking this everyday. The worst part is u spent so much time on waiting for nth if they refuse u. And you don't have plan b anymore according to the new policy. the waiting is so hard.....

April here as well...... 12 mths passed and still nothing. The immigration processing timeline is a lie... from 12 to 13 mths and still nothing. i start feeling give up.

nom and visa 26/4 is still waiting. in my opinion, I think immi probably was holding up with the process for the new policy to come out + there r many public holiday on Apirl ( Easter, Anzac ). Thus, it is very slow process even though is been a month after they updated they r processing April files on 15 march and they only processed few April applications base on the update on this forum. btw, new occupation lists r sucks!!!!

Agree with you. The occupation matters. Look at those ppl who nominated by engineer or teacher, they got approval shorter time than other occupantions.

Feeling the same way. Immigration seems delaying and haven't heard any good news for so long time. waiting like a crazy person and thinking the same thing over and over day by day. No matter what the result is, but just want to have an answer as so could make the next move. feeling so tired and sick .

Totally Agree and I believe it is only affected on future applications only. otherwise, it is not fair and look at the history, there was no affection on those who already lodged their application/ when every time Immii changed the policy, the new policy is always applies for the future applicant. On the other hand , if it is that unfair, ppl will sue the immigration department to death as it is not a fairness for ppl who already put their effort on applied for visa. However, it is better to ask MA or lawyer for a suggestion as they r the expert in this field and try to ask for more than 1 MA/ lawyer for the second opinions. Then you will have an idea on mind that what you gonna do. Wish good luck to everyone!

I just found it too. it is stressful.....from last year 6 mths to max 12 mths now. However, there is nth you can do but just waiting. Such a good time to practice your patience.:arghh:

Congrats and finally!!! U should be alright with visa as ur nomination is been approved. My MA told me is gonna take around 8-10 moths when I first submitted my application and NOW seems like it is gonna take 12 months for the result . i applied 26th Apirl. feeling so annoying and waiting impatiently................endless waiting

Seems like DIBP is already on holiday now. Because I just received an email about current processing status from them and the last updated date is still on 21 Nov.
