  1. I applied as a Commi Chef. The reason was they have already two sponsored cooks there why they need a third one and the two cooks there were the Head and Sous and I applied as a commi chef how come the two cooks were higher than me.
  2. My first Rsms was refused that's prohibits me in applying again I need to be offshore to be able to lodged my second Rsms. It really hurts me when I left but I'm looking forward of coming back again soon:)
  3. I left Australia May 2016. It's already May 2017. Almost a year already. Christmas is just around the corner and in our country when BER months comes, they start putting Christmas decoration everywhere already, so 3 months to go and I will start seeing Christmas decoration again and I'm still here! Feels weird!:)
  4. The positive thing is at least we were hearing few approvals since May 1 unlike before. Not to mention those that are not in this forum. It's just a matter of few more weeks for us whom been waiting 12-13months. ??
  5. That's good to hear! Maybe it's just been too long that's why case officer was asking again new documents if they are still willing and capable of sponsoring you.
  6. I don't think they are planning something on our visas. What the case officer did asked was normal procedure. Don't get me wrong but I think if the business is not so big and not really in a remote area you have a lot of explaining to do.
  7. I can relate to you as I'm a chef too. We have all different kind of journey. My first Rsms applicantion was denied in 2014. I started working with my sponsoring employer in regional area that time and spent $20,000 in total. I worked and saved that for 3 years and get nothing. I am so depressed those time as well. When I get back to Brisbane I kept on working 6-7 days a week. It's really hard those times just to be able to save money again to pay for my second Rsms application that costed me $17,000 this time. Now I'm offshore waiting. All I can say is do your best and if things still doesn't go your way you have nothing to regret maybe there's a better future ahead of you.
  8. Why did you said that. I think if you have a genuine position and a good company to sponsor you, you have nothing to worry much about even they get stricter, it will just depends on case officer decision then, but if it looks dodgy it will just buy you time then.
  9. It's so frustrating! A lot of people are waiting and no movement for the past few weeks.
  10. I reckon immi taking so long to process Rsms these past months because they were preparing for this changes they were busy doing/analysing/studying/reading the new changes and now it's been almost finalise they have now time to sit and do our visas. Hopefully. Just an assumptions.
  11. If they make some changes in Rsms are we gonna get affected that has been already lodged waiting or only those for new ones?
  12. I'm not April I'm May. I'm not being personal. You wrote March still waiting while they are already working on April. I understand your frustration but everyone is frustrated too. Your comment is just selfish so you want April to wait until the 2 March applicants have finish? What if they finish June? So April will be only be starting on June? That's even more funny. As you know it depends on your case why it taking so long like how credible and convincing are your documents, occupation, HR/LR, location, etc.. did you get educated now?:)
  13. I guess theirs only two March applicants left from this forum. If they were taking so long to be assess ofcourse they need to start April applicants as April applicants were taking so long to be process as well. Does it make sense?
  14. Hello guys can we know how many are still waiting from April 2016 applicant here? Pls write your occupation and date of nomination and visa lodged. Many thanks.
  15. Any idea how long they gonna start processing May 2016 applicant?

  21. Hey mate I think I can advise you on this matter. Their is no assurance of getting your 187 yet. I myself applied the second time around coz the first one was denied. If you withdraw your student visa and waiting for your Rsms, you will be in a bridging visa C. It means that if your Rsms get refused you won't be able to lodge another visa (only like partner visa and asylum seeker something like that is allowed) but if you were denied an Rsms you got to stay with your student visa still and have another opportunity to apply another visa like another student visa for masteral and or another Rsms. You can stay in regional and start working with your employer if you want but you need still to attend uni exams or important dates at uni so you won't breach your student visa. I had a workmate before she flew to Brisbane once in a while so she can still have her attendance check and sit exams. I know it's hard and expensive but that's how they do it but anyway it's just an advice do what you wanna do.
