Hi all. I am granted only 1.5 years 457 cook visa. my visa will expire on may 2018. Can I renew my visa by existing old rule. I need to work for 2 years to be eligible for TRT PR pathway. any suggestions will be appreciated. thanks

My nomination and sbs are already approved. I am just waiting for the visa grant for 3.5 months. My MA told me he has sent an email to immi on 26 September 2016 and it's been just 4 days to get the reply from immi.

please have a look my timeline dibp take time even after the nomination approval 2016 may 24 - sbs and nomination approved ( sbs and nomination approved within 19 days) 2016 june 16 - visa lodged along with my wife and a 4 yrs child 2016 june 24 - medical done 2016 june 25 - RPL certicicates submitted .....then waiting ....(3.5 months passed after nomination approved)! waiting till date.

Hi sweetu, thanks for reply, i know many are waiting for their visas for long time, how do we know that co already assigned our file? I do not understand whether they send us an email requesting further documents if only they need those or they won't contact us if they don't need those documents. Thanks

2016 may 24 - sbs and nomination approved ( sbs and nomination approved within 19 days) 2016 june 16 - visa lodged along with my wie and a 4 yrs old child 2016 june 24 - medical done 2016 june 25 - RPL certicicates submitted 2016 july 6 - my IELTS (3 years) certificate expired It is almost 3 months now CO hasn't assigned my file yet. It is painful.
