I am not sure whether my employer's sbs approval was done in advance though I know that they sponsored a lot of candidates. Hello everyone, Got my visa approved today:) Applied for my spouse and myself. Following is the timeline : Application lodged on 21st June 2016 Application approved/granted on 12th August 2016 Note: medicals were done before lodging application along with supporting documents which includes 1221, education certificates, work experience certificates, marriage certificate etc. My visa was applied online by Australia MA while i was in India. I am from a HR country and heading to Brisbane,QLD. My position is ICT Business Analyst Hope everyone get it soon! I understand how the waiting period feels!! All the best guys!! As told by my agent, it might not be a good idea to apply for a visitor visa before approval of 457 visa; as DIBP might think that you want to start working earlier. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hello Everybody I am new to this forum. Following are my timelines: 457 Application lodged: 21st June 2016 Approval of anything is unknown My employer has a tie up with a big shot MA, MA is a good name in industry. All my documents were submitted/ ready prior to the lodge of application like medicals, educational certificates, experience letters, 1221 & 80 When I asked for application reference number, MA said its confidential and cannot be provided to you; we will do all the tracking on your behalf.
