  1. Hello, I came back to this page after 3 years since i got my Australia Permanent Resident. I got some question for all people here for my case. I was planning to apply Australian Citizenship and Green card USA next year. As family, my parents that just granted for green card application (based on my brothers sponsorship also one of them are US citizen and 2 of my brothers are green card holder) we plan to move to USA temporarily for a few years but i don't want to lose my Australia Permanent Residency, thats why i decided to apply citizenship. How this things work ? since the citizenship application wiil take almost at the same time as green card processing time possibly 1-2 years until its finish. FYI i need to give up my main citizen after got Australia Citizen. is that possible for me to apply at the same time ? Thank you for your time. Cheers.
  2. Hello, its been a while since i posted the question regarding RSMS, currently my obligation on RSMS visa (2 years contract) will be over soon on. Do i need to inform the immigration so i can leave my workplace after 2 years obligation? or i can just leave straight away ? thanks
  3. Hello, is anyone here can give suggestion or advice to live in Melbourne, i was thinking to move to Melbourne next year and currently i live in Perth because live here alone seems everything getting bored also i'm not outdoor person (seems Perth is good for people who's like nature or outdoor activities). My current job is as a Chef de Partie. Anyone can give suggestion how much the rent in Melbourne, living cost, and which suburb is better to rent and live. I prefer 1 bedroom apartment and stay alone. Also how hard to get a job in Melbourne for Hospitality Industry as a chef ? Since i don't really have a problem to find a job here in Perth, what i heard from someone that worked in Melbourne is more competition to get a job, less salary expectation, higher rent cost and lower on groceries cost ( compare with Perth ). Any advice and suggestion would be great. Regards,
  4. Thats even worse, i applied on feb 16 and got on feb 17 .. and they just move 1-2 months since i got my PR 5-6 months ago ? ?
  5. geez.. it took forever these time, currently looking for the progress for my friend that she applied the visa on nov 2016 and its still on may 16 ?
  6. i dont think you need 5 years to apply RSMS ? also if you want to take legal action, its gonna be hard since you are offshore...
  7. Finally i got my PR today.. Visa + Nomination apply : 25 February 2016 RcB apply : 24 Feb 2016 Rcb approve : 24 April 2016 Nomination Approve : 9 January 2017 Request document submitted : 13 January 2017 Visa Approval : 9 February 2017 Occupation : chef (offshore) HR its almost a year ... thanks for everyone in this forum, which help me a lot when feeling down... good luck for everyone
  8. Probably u can make immiaccount to check the progress on ur file, as i'm offshore as well , from there u can check if the immigration ask for more documents or not also you can try to contact your company to ask the nomination progress, i believe that you can submit the document by yourself from immiaccount...
  9. since i look at this forum, its seems impossible that immigration working on random applicant like jump to another month unless you got first priorities occupation job ( like nursing, mechanic etc) or transition stream from 457 visa to 187 visa. Also its these day its impossible for Hospitality industry to get it less than 9 months
  10. From what i know about february-june, because ens (186) visa move so fast and they already move to june applicant while rsms visa left behind on february, but i think they still will continue rsms visa on february first , just because the email update they mix it up between ens and rsms together so they update february - june
  11. Oh finally someone post something here , so lonely before haha
  12. A few days before christmas and their email update like that ... hopeless..
  13. Am i the only person that thinking about immigration give up already with rsms visa and probably they will start again on January 2017 ? Since there's no update at all
  14. just import your application, it will ask you reference number
  15. just make immiaccount , put your reference number from acknowledge letter ... you check your status from there
  16. same as my employer, they rang the immigration on last oct, they say probably i will get it on November but tomorrow is December and there's no news at all
  17. thats what i believe too .. i saw theres maintenance till 2 dec and another one is on 5 dec so probably there will be no grant till then
  18. I hope they can finish february applicant before christmas otherwise we have to wait another month to get the visa, since they are always took holiday earlier and come to back to work late
  19. where's february applicant ? i'm sick of it for waiting
  20. I just dont get it, if you apply for nomination earlier than your visa application its gonna make the process faster ? I saw some people here who's apply the nomination and visa at the same time, got the approval faster than separated application
  21. from my previous refusal visa, when you do appeal, you cant apply any type of visa and for appeal itself it tooks ages.. mine around a year to process (sept 2015- oct 2016) and while they processing your appeal, you have to be onshore... i heard from my friend that you have to go to the court as well ... its complicated and waste a lot of time, thats why i withdraw my appeal...
  22. oh thank you , thats what i wanna see, getting sick with waiting period, at least they are moving on
  23. I think your MA is correct, since my MA ask for my update CV/resume, also reference letter from your previous workplace and your sponsor company
