    Had mine granted on the 17th May, lodged on 1st March. Now its been a crazy fast frenzy of work and emotions!! We Fly out in under 2 weeks heading for the Gold coast. Still hasn't sunk it yet. But keep positive as much as possible (easy for me to say this I know) because when it comes........It hits hard and fast.

    Sorry for late reply, it's been a crazy fast few days!! We are booking flights tomorrow once we get the thumbs up from the accommodation manager. Hoping for 14th July!!!!! Clearing out our house and getting it ready for tenants, I'm officially out of work this week. So much sorting and phoning to do it's unreal and it all has to be done asap. But I'm still very grateful that ours has processed so quick.

    We used a agent, Ian harop and associates. They were brilliant, just for peace of mind and someone we could email or phone it was worth it. The time scale has been quick, first spoke to Jenny from Ian harop about our options in November.

    Visa granted today 189, its like I'm day dreaming! lodged on march 1st. Requested more info on the 6th march.

    Contacted our agent today, she said this time of the year is usually a waiting period for many as the quota for visas for the year are almost met. Not sure but I think they renew them around mid June July time. Well I hope anyway.

    Nothing with me either I might open a bank account soon, just hoping for the big $2 -a£1. The waiting is killing me, keep telling myself to be positive everyday!!

    Our medicals and police checks sent through on the 16th march. I'm not sure if they've been looked at by our CO but it's all on there and no other info has been asked for. im really impatient and it's only been 2 months since lodging. God knows what I'm going to be like if it gets to the 5-7 month waiting period.

    Lodged mine on 1st march and had CO on the 6th. He asked us to submit police checks and medicals but I've heard nothing since, seems to be the same for everyone, as all the forums and Facebook groups I go on don't have any good news to report.

    Hey all, my first post and I'd thought I'd add what stage I'm at. 189 visa as a lift mechanic, heading for Brisbane. Using a agent with our application, family of 4. March 1st EOI sent and asked to apply on same day. Medicals and Police checks cleared and verified on 21st March. So far we've not been asked for any further information, just the dreaded Application processing on immi account.

    Hello everyone, my wife and i have taken the plunge into getting our visas after a life changing trip to Brisbane. We are currently going through the skills assessment stage and need to draft up a letter to send to my previous employers to request working dates etc. Could anyone give advice on what the letter should include or have a template I can use? Thank you for any help. Lee.
