Hi there, HELP PLEASE! I applied for the Visa 864 in November 2016 and now have been asked for AoS, police checks, medicals etc. My husband is gravely ill and receiving palliative care. We have a doctor's letter to say that he's unfit to travel. I have been told that I can remove my husband from our joint application by filling in Form 1022, and that I will not need to reapply. I was also told that I could apply for Visa 602 Medical treatment visa, (he is not receiving treatment but sees GP monthly for strong painkillers & other medication) or a visitor visa for him. At present we receive Medicare as reciprocal. Q 1: If I DON'T remove him from the application, will I be refused too? Q. 2: If I apply for Visa 602 or Visa 600 would he be eligible for Medicare? Thank you in advance for any help/advice.

Hello there, I'm not very clued up on writing on this forum, so apologies if I've put it in the wrong place. We applied for the above Visa on 18th November 2016. Immigration are currently processing applications 8th September 2016. They have been on this date for almost 8 months to my knowledge. Would anyone know how long it normally takes please?
