another 2 years contract, my university's HR called me and relayed this request to me.

Sorry, I think I haven't described clearly. I want to say from I submitted more doc they requested to I got PR is 26 days, and from the date they request more doc to I got PR is 33 days.

I've been waited 26 days after I submitted the more doc they requested. Just be patient, do not need to worry about it.

I know my colleague who just got his PhD degree and came to OZ by 457 used direct entry got PR in 8 months after he arrived. At least this 3 years experience doesn't mean you have to work for a same employer for 3 years.

I know direct entry does not have the 2 years limitation.

Hi Jo, my HR called me on 19/01/2016 and told me I may not get PR as my contract only has one and half year left (actually only one year and 4 month left ). She said what I need is a 2 years contact from the date that they opened my case. I don't know what exactly the immi office say. Sorry. I think if they didn't mention you need to have a 2 years contract clearly that should be fine. Can you contact your agent or HR?

Dear All, I've just got email fro DIBP this morning at 8:48. I got my PR finally, it has been lasted 195 days. The waiting was painful. I would like to share my time line: Lodged: 13/08/2015 submitted: 20/08/2015 more information requested: 29/01/2016 (another 2 years contract, as my old contract only has 1 and half years left when they started to open my file) information submitted: 05/02/2016 granted: 02/03/2016 Direct entry HR country I got lots of supports and information here, and I really want to say thank you to everyone. Good luck!!!!

I think they give us maximum 28 days to prepare and upload the information they requested, but there is no limited time for them to process our applications......it has being already 28 days since they asked me to upload more information...
