  1. he didn't actually stuff up my application. he just was really inefficient and stuff me up. i had used him before when doing my 457 and wanted to keep the same MA. he was really efficient then. the second time around, i paid him and had to wait like a week for him to send me the doc checklist. i already knew what docs were needed according to the website but it was a requirement from my company to use a professional. Then it was time to apply for nomination, he was so inefficient( he was in america trying to run a zillion businesses) that my company decided to get their own agent. since we had already paid for him and would not have received a refund, opted to stay with him, it would have only been the application that he would need to lodge and all our documents were already submitted to his portal, so i thought i could do that so despite being crap he can surely do that. once the nomination was lodged, he advised not to lodge our visa for precaution(which was ok) but then our nomination went through and i called literally everyday until he lodged the visa. he finally did so a month after the nomination was approved. i was about to pull it from him(which i should have done as soon as) but then he had lodge it and received the notification of application. i thought that was it and that there would be no more stress but one morning i tried to email him, it bounced back,i tried logging onto his portal but i couldn't get on, i tried calling and a voicemail said to contact via the portal. i went and researched on the immi website for his MARN, couldn't find it anywhere and finally saw that it had lapsed and he left the country. so in the end i had to pay for another agent anyway. if i hadn't begged for him to put the application in and just waited, he would have run away with my money like he did with heaps more. like i say i hate to tell this story because i feel like such an idiot. if i had researched and found this forum earlier perhaps i would have bounced off ideas from you or if i had changed agents the countless time i wanted too but decided not to to save my money. but the thing is i can do anything else now just lesson learnt.
  2. Thanks for your PM, I applied for my visa on 19th of October. My nomination had been approved on the 16 of September. I used an MA who stuffed up. It's a long story I hate telling! I would already have been pr now
  3. Do you have an immi accoun so you can check? can you pm me the number to call if I want to check my application please ?
  4. I was just wondering, does anyone 1. Had their 186 refused? 2. Know anyone who has had their 186 refused? 3. Know the reason it has been refused? 4. Know why we get so anxious when waiting for our grant( lol to that one) I'm only curious.
  5. Congrats on yr nomination approval! Hopefully not long till your PR now. are you able to let us know what doc they requested for visa? Ta
  6. So i predicted some grants today:wink:, i wasn't wrong. we have 2 PR grants and a few nomination approved. keep 'em coming DIPB. Congrats to all who got PR today. looking forward to more tomorrow..
  7. i think your right, at least we wouldn't be stressing as much as it would mean that they have more time to process visa and be more efficient.
  8. :wub:Tomorow is a new day I'm sensing lots of approval! It's 11pm here so I expect to see some early grants on the forum in the morning! Good night all!
  9. If at least I saw 5 to 10 grants a day I'd be extremely happy. I'd know that the wait is almost over but at this rate, it feels like it's gonna be a long wait. Stay positive I keep saying to myself but it's really hard
  10. to everyone who was requested more info from CO, are you able to give us the heads up as to what documents they asked for? was it more for the nomination part? Nomination approved-16 September Visa application- 19 October 2015 Application Status- Application received Position- Program/ Project administrator
  11. i used his services back in 2012 and back then he was really onto things, appeared knowledgeable, replied to messages quick i assume everything you'd look for in an MA. then the second time around, he had gone bigger, opening offices around the world and was just inefficient. i also had paid him for his services and luckily he lodged my visa before going AWOL which means i haven't lost the departmental fee. i choose to appoint a different MA instead of doing it myself. so in the end i lost money time and feel very bad as i just could feel that something was not right. i shouldn't feel ashamed as I'm the victim, but i do. anyway, if he doesn't get sanctioned properly by the law, I'm sure something like karma or else will get him. i hope that your issue was resolved TobyOsmond. unfortunately many of us have been victim of his scam. i don't know if you could get your money back but do let us know if you did. I'm curious to know if you managed to get your employee to obtain his visa.
  12. Hi, i have been following this thread for a couple of months now and i have to say, it brings comfort to see that I'm not the only one who feels this way about waiting. i thought i was the unluckiest person to have to wait this long as few of my friends got theirs really fast. but it just seems that they were just incredibly lucky. i had all my documents ready to lodge after my second year of 457 but i recruited a migration agent who just didn't do his job right. in the end he ended up going AWOL and i had to get another migration agent anyway. so i feel like a total fool cause i could have changed MA but didn't as i had already paid him, etc... but anyway, i think karma or something will look after him so i don't have to worry about him. I do have hope that we will be reaching good news soon.
