  1. We transferred money in to our son in laws Australian bank account, sent him details from 2nd vac request form and he did it via mobile banking. BPAY is free but not all bank accounts let you use BPAY. The request form from PVCteam gives you options of how you can pay. Son in law sent me a copy of his payment receipt and I sent it to PVCteam as proof of payment (after all the trouble we had with the AOS payment). We had set up a bank account in Australia a couple of years ago and transferred money across a couple of months ago when the rate was relatively high.
  2. Yes, we have too. Found out yesterday from our assurer that she had been rejected for the same thing even though we have proof that the bond was paid on time. She eventually managed to get through to Centrelink and talk to someone who knew what he was doing. Seemingly her file has both an acceptance letter and rejection letter on it, he cannot understand why the rejection letter was sent and is looking in to it for her. He said to give him 'a couple of days' to try and find out what is going on. This is very worrying and we are also panicing at bit.
  3. I sent in a Form 929 on 5th July, heard nothing back at all and just assumed it had been done. I then got an e-mail confirming the update on 17th September. A bit longer than the 40 days. A pattern is emerging. From the e-mail I recieved: Your Form 929 has been processed and your details have been updated in the department’s systems. Please note that Passport changes may take 24-48 hours to be reflected in VEVO. This will not affect your travel. You can check your own visa details with VEVO through the following link: www.homeaffairs.gov.au/VEVO
  4. This might help you. https://www.centrelink.gov.au/custsite_aoscalc/aoscalc/eligibilityPage.jsf?wec-appid=aoscalc&wec-locale=en_US
  5. Thanks David. Assurer and myself were just a bit confused. Both of us are brain fried with all the form filling done recently. Bill.
  6. Got all our requested documents in to immi. Assurer has put AOS form into Centerlink and is just waiting for follow up call. Is there anything we have to do as visa applicants in relation to the AOS form ? Thanks for any help anyone can give.
  7. Got assigned a case officer today. So good news is 143 Visa queue for September 2015 is moving.
  8. Hi Geoff and Gill, We are 3 months behind you and will be moving to Wyndham Vale, NW Melbourne. Bill and Sue
