If lodge permanent visa elig for Medicare card this rule apply to any subclass.Whether you are 457 visa or student visa. End of the financial year when lodge tax they deduct $800 .that means Medicare is not free pay $800 per financial year

Talk to Medicare office manager. We all got Medicare even my bridging visa not active I got my Medicare on same day of my visa application still my 457 visa valid for 1 and half year. Clearly mentioned in 186 visa acknowledgement

Yes buddy if you lodge 186 visa you are eligible. Even though bridging visa not active.BV is acknowledgment

@faol .Take your bridging visa along with passport (all applicant should attend) to nearest Medicare office you will get your temporary card in 5 mins after 1 week you will get card by post

@Mannsaab.After lodging 186 visa application you are elig for Medicare card. Still if you want have private cover you can go head as medicare does not cover some surgeries and medical treatment also if you want to under go some surgery with medicare its long waiting period you may wait up to years for some operations but totally up to you i have medicare as well as private health insurance.But immi do not bother after lodging 186 visa.when you are on 457 visa as per the law you should have private health insurance that is the responsibility of your employer

@09SEP If case officer assigned for your visa file then you will see status. As i said earlier you can not see your nomination status that can be accessed by MA ONLY. Also you can not get any response from immi regarding your status as already given authority to MA act behalf of your file. i have question any body can help please . In employer letter do we have to mention how many paid or unpaid leaves taken for so far. My MA said no need to mention is it Right ? MA SAID CO can see all information on group certificate and NOA. I am bit confused . I worked for 2 years 3 months when i submitted my application

@09SEP.Reg:login Immi acc go to import application enter correct visa application TRN not the Nomination .I remember enter TRN, Passprt number,DOB,Coutry of passport with in a second you will see application status. I did same I submitted through MA but still able to see status.

Hi Jolie. In order to avoid further delay in processing better fill form 80 and upload relevant educational qualification documents. Yes bit painful of filling 1000 pages. After granting visa your pain go away. That's my sincere advise all the best. Congrats to new PRs

Even MA able to tell you about the status of nomination. If You lodge nomination through MA and taken employer declaration to communicate about Nomination with immigration MA will get alert.I did when I lodged 457 visa and now for 186 visa.

Congrats yes.Hi Ricky Asking docs again this documents or not uploaded before . I am very happy Immi working very fast. Do not worry guys whom Immi requested documents matter of time taking all go well one day late but end of the day all get. Until and unless do very big mistake .MA does not take your file with out checking very basic documents so be patient
