Hi, May someone can help or give some advises: I have submitted application of 186 since 9th June 2015. I work in a convenience store in central city as a marketing coordinator. During 13 months wait, I had a site visit from DIBP checking about my 457. In another week I received Intention Letter saying they doubted my working title is not matching the nomination title. I have sent explanation and work evidence to them. Now four weeks pasted heard nothing. My MA can only tell me wait but I am totally sick about this. Can you tell me what is the procedure for "Internal and external check"? Or someone I can talk from DIBP about my case what is happening? I called 131881 so many times but the answer is kicking the balls. Thanks in advance.

Probably bcoz three years ago DIBP came site visit not I wasnt there, they didnt have enough information from that time.

Got reply from DIPB, they are still monitoring my 457 even though I applied 186 last year. I have send everything they inquired, after the site visit, they send me a Notice of intention about my working duty is not matching the job title. Because we are small organization, the border for individual work duty is not so clear. However I sent response in writing with recent working evidence back to them. Now I am waiting their response. So if anyone got reply in 6-8 months, you guys are lucky. I would say the applicants waiting for over 8 months, get all documents ready in case of the monitoring. No need to worry coz they will get back to you sooner or later. Thanks for this forum seeing so many guys supporting each other, but it is really not a good feeling watching many approvals while I am still waiting. This is the only time I realized that my own fate will be decided by someone else.

Just got people from IMMI visited me this morning, asked about general questions like payroll, business structure, work duty and evidence. Hope I can get approved soon. Good luck everybody!!!

IMMI replied me as below: The case is still being held, pending response from the other area. Please know that this case will be prioritised for finalisation as soon as clarification has been received; meanwhile, please accept our apology for the delay. Thank you / your client for your patience. Two weeks pasted no news update yet.

Not yet. I believe site visit will be the last part for their checking.

I totally agree with you They have started processing my case like half year ago and now they said they are still waiting for clarification. It is hopeless and very very frustrating.

Thank you for your reply. IMMI said they are waiting for the clarification from other area for my case. I am not sure what is so called 'clarification', I have submitted everything they requested and it has been 6 months from their first contact (when they started processing my case)!

my case has been pending for 12 months now and my MA placed a request for progress and then this morning he received a reply from a senior case officer. In the letter he mentioned that my case is pending as they are still waiting for clarification from other areas. Do you guys think what the 'clarification' might be?

Two weeks ago I called IMMI asking about my nomination, they told me I cannot have any info for that part. Then my employer called, they said we need contact authorized agent which is my MA. MA said will send inquiry letter. No news till now, this is a football game. :no:
