  1. I wass just at immi office this morning in Brisbane and it was a bit quiet. I asked the case officer and he said members from the union are on a strike. Some still working though. It will probably be a bit slow for a couple of weeks.
  2. Thank you! Can I call you around 12pm today or you prefer later?
  3. Thank you for your advice. My husband s boss informed immi as soon as he left. Do you think I should get an MA to help me with BVE or do it by myself?
  4. I haven't paid just yet but I m pretty sure it's nearly $5.000
  5. Yes, my husband left his job last december and a few months later I applied for 187. 457 was through my husband. I hope its not gonna affect our 187.What do you think?
  6. Guys I just got some bad news too. Our 457 visa has been cancelled. I ll try to call immi tomorrow to see if we can apply for Bridging E.Any advice?
  7. Good luck with your visa my friend! I have a question for you. Being on bringing e do you know if the time to citizenship starts once you get 187 visa or since you moved to australia ?
  8. I ll let you know I filed 10/3 although they don't open the files chronologically
  9. Happy Monday all! Let's see what happens this week. I have a good feeling
  10. Now I have a question too... A member from another thread said that if previous visa gets cancelled(student, 457 etc) the 4 years till citizenship start counting since 187/186 grant even if you have been in Australia many years. Have you heard anything about that?
  11. try to create a new immi account with the TRN but I said before use a laptop and not your phone
  12. Hi Flomi, have you created an account to track your visa? I couldnt track mine through my phone but I could only log in to my account from a laptop.
  13. you mean that if you cancel your student visa you are not eligible for citizenship although you have been here 6 years?
  14. I would recommend you to keep records of everything that happens at work and causes you stress and tears. Also you can email your boss (always written communication that you can recover in your inbox, instead of just paper that can be destroyed) and talk to them. If things dont get better and you leave your job, if the immigration decides to investigate you will have proof that things weren't good there for you. Also keep a good relationship with other staff members even if you leave your job so they can support you if something happens. If you have been in australia so many years in a few months you will get citizenship so by the time the start investigating you might be a citizen already. If you ask most of the migration agents, they cannot tell you what is gonna happen with your case but they will definitely say that they have never heard of anyone losing their pr. Best of luck my friend
  15. I m not an expert but I think medical problem is out of your control that means its not your personal choice to leave your job but you are forced to do so due to a medical problem, so I dont think its gonna affect your visa and even if they investigate you will be covered with the documents from doctors
