  1. 2 and half months has gone since December 2015, they only move from early July to mid July, what is wrong?

Don't worry; I believe Immi posted this earlier update in error. It seems from this week's PR grants on this forum that they are actually processing mid-August applications now. Not as good as we'd like it, but better than mid-July, anyway.

  2. Hi all friends im watching this forum from long time but register just now can any one help me which is HR and LR please

    My time line is

    nom and visa 17 august

    From IMMI website, https://www.border.gov.au/Lega/Lega/8#d

[h=2]Definition – low/high risk[/h]The terms 'Low risk' and 'High risk' show whether passport holders are eligible to apply for an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA). Low risk applies to nationals from countries which issue ETA eligible passports. A list of these can be found on the department's website. High risk countries are those which are not ETA eligible.

    See: ETA Eligible Passports

  3. Hello mates, anyone receive email from immi that shows which files are processing now?? Thsnks

Got this yesterday, but seems like an error, reverting to a previous update on 27 Jan.:

**This is an automated response regarding ENS 186/RSMS 187 applications. Please do not respond to this email**

Email Updated on 27 January 2016

    IMPORTANT INFORMATION

We are currently allocating ENS and RSMS applications that were lodged mid July 2015.

  4. Hi deejay777, immi instructs to submit form80 alongwith the application regardless of the date applied, i think. Could you give light on the info that form80 is required only for those who applied after 15/12/2015? TIA

I think there's been some confusion between Form 80, which has been around for some time, and the new declaration that requires you to state whether you've paid an employee to receive nomination. This declaration has been required for all 186 and 187 applicants since 14 December 2015.

  5. It's been 5.5 months and we haven't got a case officer yet. We have submitted all the documents just waiting for Case officer. This shows that processing time is around 8 months specially for those who are from HR Country. Immigration should change the processing time on their website .... It's really painful :(

I'm sorry, but I don't follow: you've been waiting for 5.5 months, and this shows that the processing time is 8 months...?

No doubt some outlying cases do go to 8 months, but it seems to be the experience of most people here that 6 months, maybe a little more, is the norm.

It doesn't harm, I suppose, to be prepared for an 8-month wait, but hang in there, and hope for the best!

  6. The evidence is here at this forum if you follow everyday posts & check the timelines , Most of the applications has been finalized in around 6 month period unless you have not provided all documents at the time of application lodgement .

Yes; I believe that some MAs and Immigration officials under-promise to avoid applicants getting on their case at the 6-month mark. But the majority of "decision-ready" grants are at around 6 months if you follow posts here and look at the spreadsheet on the 186 thread, which has a similar turnaround to the 187 visas.

  7. Frankly speaking, and looking at the processing times that have been recorded on the spreadsheet, I don't think the HR/LR designation makes a difference to processing times on 186 or 187 visas. On the immi website, the standard is 6 months for either. Also, looking at the same evidence, I don't think the Direct Entry/ Transition Stream makes much of a difference either. Processing speeds depend more, it seems, on the luck of the draw in being allocated a faster processing team or one with with a lesser case load.

Hang in there, and let's hope for a productive week from Monday!

  8. Exciting ✌ Congratulations, Now your on the way for Visa Grant  Soon

congratulations.....look like your nomination approved almost after 6 months, will get your visa soon for sure.

    cheers

    congratulations [emoji2]

    Thanks for your good wishes!

I am very relieved, although I must admit to being slightly disappointed that they didn't process my visa at the same time, as they have with some others who have had a gap in the date between nomination and visa applications. Anyway, I hope I get the visa soon, and don't have to wait until end of September processing.

Hope all of you who are still waiting for contact get to hear soon, too!

  9. I'm very please to inform here that my Nomination for Subclass 187 Visa Application has been approved just a minute ago . Received an email from MA with notice that I'll be working full time from next week . Feeling lucky getting approval after 158 days. Good Luck everyone ☺

    Visa & Nomination

    25th August 2015

Great news! Congratulations, and may your visa follow very soon!

  10. Don't be discouraged by seeing more grants on other visas, like the 186. The number of 187 applicants is proportionally lower (we have about one-third of the number of 186 applicants, if this forum is representative), so you won't see grants happening here in the same numbers as the 186 thread. Hang in there; good things will happen soon!

  11. my timeline is rcb applied on 3/8/2015. Approved on 16/10/2015. Nomination and visa applied on 5/08/2015. Along with all checklist documents. Location is western australia. Have not heard nothing yet but waiting for good.

We have a similar timeline (at least as far as my nomination is concerned). Let's hope they move on to early August pretty soon!
