  1. Thank you!! Yes I am so happy, I finally got the email today after 211 days. For the last week I have been checking my email non stop waiting for this. I've updated the spreadsheet straight away to give you September babies more hope.

I'm still at work but tonight will definitely be one to celebrate!

How to be glad that you MA is not available when needed?

    This is the case!

My CO called me this morning, saying that she couldn't reach my MA: she needed information about the places where I and my partner lived in the past 10 years (as per form80), which were already been provided to the MA.

I had until 1:30pm to provide these info, otherwise I'd be back in the queue and wait for 28 days (she made it very clear).

My girlfriend produced then a simple Word document with all the dates and the addresses and she forwaded to her at 1:19pm!

Two hrs late I received the notification of change of status on my ImmiAccount and...

    WE'VE GOT PR!!

We are officially Australian Permanent Resident!!

My timeline is in the signature.

Thank you everyone for support and information, glad to part of this forum with other people on the same boat.

Good luck guys, you will eventually get visa soon!!

And to @TSC89: Huge congrats to you all, and all the best for the future!

  2. Thanks JonOgre, what do you mean by private (subclass 187) sponsorship? both of us have no skill assessment as it is not a requirement for a direct entry application.

Private = non-state/govt. Private employers may also browse SkillSelect for suitable applicants. I'm not sure if a Skills Assessment is needed for entering an EOI for a 187 visa, but, as you say, it is not required for Direct Entry. The traditional job search for a willing regional employer, though, is probably your best bet. It was the route that I took; and the sponsorship issue only came up later in the recruitment process.

  3.

Please, I will like to know how to find a sponsor in the regional area, i am a disability support worker and my partner just completed MBA in Human Resources Management.
@Master, you can submit an expression of interest through SkillSelect for state (Subclass 190) or private (Subclass 187) sponsorship, or you can search for employment in the usual ways, i.e., job boards etc., in the hope of finding an employer who will sponsor you for a 187 visa.
  4. Hi all. I've noticed recently that there are links to two different versions of the spreadsheet appearing on this thread. Please use the link in my signature, below, to access the editable version, where you can add or update your own visa info as appropriate. If you have any difficulties, experienced members here will be happy to help too.

Keep the faith, and let's hope for an end to the interminable wait for August and September applicants.

  6. Hi everyone I m new to this thread my timeline

    rcb approved 3/11/15

nomi n visa apply on 12/11/15

still waiting now I been gone through name change in Feb so I have attached new passport detail with used declaration used in application but co is not considering that and asking me legal document please advice me what should I do now.

You probably need to provide a document giving a reason for the name change, such as a marriage certificate.

  7. Thnaks @JonOgre for your reply

so do i need to apply overseas and australian again or only australian

coz My MA said dont worry about applying overseas pcc if you havnt left the country ?

Despite the regulation, it makes practical sense that you'd need only the Australian PCC: if you haven't left Australia, it is impossible that you since could have gained additional criminal convictions abroad. This is a case, though, where the regulation is in conflict with the practicalities. I would hope that your MA is right, and that your case officer follows the common sense approach.

Anyone else had experience with this kind of case?

  8. Hi everyone,

just wondering if pcc only valid for 1year then after lodgeing application if pcc's get expired and we havnt got approved.

so my question is ,Do we need to apply pcc again or visa will get approved because i havnt left country since 2 years.

we need to do Australian & overseas PCC again or only Australian ?

dont wants to get delay on file because of that

    anybody know about that 100 % ?

No-one can predict 100% what the case officer might request, but the visa regulations themselves are quite clear in 1) requiring a police clearance certificate for every country that you have lived in for an accumulated 12 months over the last 10 years; and 2) that the police clearance certificates are valid for 12 months only. This validity is usually taken to be at the time of consideration for approval, not of lodgement, although some case officers seem to give a leeway of a month or so.

You could wait for the certainty of the case officer's request, but with this comes potential delays of obtaining a new certificate and having your case on hold for 28 days. You would probably be better off by reapplying for the PCC if the one year validity would have expired by the time your case is likely to be considered.

  9. beg your pardon, i have a question. i applied for nomination and 187 visa in November. i have already lodged my medical check and the police check. both of them done in may. what can happen if my documentation will start being reviewed only in June, can the immigration ask me to redo everything ?

The medical check and police clearance are valid for one year only. If the case officer checks after this period, you will be asked to re-do them. To avoid further delays, it may be better to re-do them before your case is likely to be opened, and before you are asked for them.

  10. hi everybody. how can i insert my application info in the link . [LINK REMOVED]

The link in your post seems to be to a "view only" copy of the spreadsheet. Please use the link in my email signature, below, instead.

Find the correct month tab (at the bottom), and then add your details to the appropriate sheet. If you are still having any difficulties, post your details here, and one of the members will add them for you.

Thank You Guys For Sharing All THe info About 187 visa Files:notworthy:

Excellent news! Very happy for you!

  13. Hi everyone, just heard a sad news from my agent, it says my nomination has been refused because of I had Student Visa refusal history, they doubt my immigration intention. I called the immigration this morning and they still asked for documents for my visa application, how this possible? I am so confused!

Really sorry to hear that, Freddy. The reason for the refusal given by your MA is especially confusing since the nomination is a consideration of the position and of the legitimacy of your prospective employer, rather than of your merits as an applicant.

  14. Hi everyone, a quick question, the immigration request documents for visa application, dose this mean my nomination has been approved?

If the requested documents are definitely for the actual visa, chances are that your nomination has been approved. Check with your employer.

  15. Got call from MA middle of the night! Granted. FINALLY! Stock disbelief excited! ! Thank you everyone for the support especially Zoya and dec2015.

5 years of working towards this direct entry.

Now can start tying up and move.

    Wow!

Praying for speedy outcomes for everyone

Huge congratulations! Glad to hear that your patience has finally paid off.

  16. Hello guys, i ve seen some new friends on this page. Please add your timeline to spreadsheet. Thanks

For new friends, the link to the spreadsheet is in my signature, below. Please could more regular posters add the link to their own signatures too? I am not able to post every day, and unless the link appears, regularly, I am afraid that the spreadsheet will not serve its purpose. Thanks!
