The amount of money ive waisted on getting an agent is scary. I did most of the work, fill in paperwork etc... i could of just done it myself. It took me a few hours to fill in all paperwork required and thats including coffee breaks. Im sure going through a checklist is alot faster. If i had to do the math.... everyone on this forum would have a visa grant today. Maybe i should change my occupation. ? On the positive side...im still sane ...i think. Tomorrow is ANOTHER DAY. good luck for tomorrows lucky draw.

Its called being paranoid. Ive heard of some people opening their own immi account and importing their application and its actually caused the dept to view double files and cause issues. I was just wondering if its going to happen to me hahaha. My agent was cross with me when she found out i opened my own immi account. All i did was import my application. Haha.

Ive been checking sites from last year. Last year this time it took the dept 10 - 12 weeks to process applications. Im on 16 weeks. You do the math. i feel like im in the " make you suffer " pile.

Thats unreal hey. I cant believe that they would wait for it to be requested knowing it will take another 28 days to review. Thats just crazy. I submitted a uk police check that was expired as the agent said it would be good enough as i have not returned there. I hope for my agents sake she is right. I cant wait anymore for this pr. Its the most fustrating thing in the world. first it was waiting for 457 then this. Aaaaah. I hope yours comes soon.

Hi kavinam. My application was decision ready. All medicals and police checks were done before date of lodgement 29 june. Im going through an agent. I havnt been requested anything yet...hopefully not. All docs were decision ready. 4 in our family. I went into the spreadsheet and im still there in june number 29. My nom and visa were lodged by agent 49 days apart. Nom was approved on the 4 sept. I had to phone my agent for her to let me know it was approved... shocking i know. My morning consist of waking up, making coffee, rolling a smoke to calm my nerves and checking these various sites and of course my immi EVERY MORNING. its now a new habit of mine. Hope this helps...

I applied for nom in may. Got approved on 11 sept. Applied for visa on the 29 june and still waiting. looks like the case officer picked up my application but only approved nomination and then put me back in the que for visa. so looks like im going to be waiting a while

So i think they might be taking it from the date of visa app then. If thats the case then its probably going to take another 2 or 3 months. Ive seen some people apply a month apart before and get approval on the same day or the very next day.
