My husband is a floor finisher. We have been here almost 5 years now, so it is nice to finally be able to celebrate!

Well guys - my time has come! VISA approved at lunch time today!! 4 months exactly! No extra docs for visa (nomination approved first)!! Happy weekend everyone and good luck! Hope you all hear something very soon! :-)

Hey Marc Have you had your email yet? Did it go straight from application received to finalised on immi? I wonder what it means about the electronic authorisation?

Hi Focus My nomination was approved in December - they did request additional documents before they approved it, but I am not sure what they requested as they went directly to the employer. Visa app submitted in April - hopefully with all the right documents and police checks etc - so hopefully they just need to approve it! Fingers crossed We have not used a MA.

Yes I agree Eddy - I think it takes longer for people who have the nomination already approved. They seem to process nomination and visa together faster. Although it is looking hopeful if Marc got his visa finalised today! Hopefully we wont have much longer to wait!

When I spoke to Immi they said decision ready is just jargon and it just means that all the documents have been submitted eg police and health checks etc

Hi Stacyk - my nomination took almost the full 6 months. They do seem to be processing them quicker just now though.
