Long time to wait its been 7 months since my visa and nomination submitted. They are claiming its back log, but how come I see approvals coming through fom May!! very frustrating why me:arghh:

Wow that seems like a long time to approve a nomination. Have you lodged your Visa application yet, or have you just been waiting for nomination approval?

Hi Shirini, unfortunately I had submitted my police check in January but because of the delay in processing it expired during my waiting time, and so they requested another one, and they requested this info in May, but because I had to get my prints digitized and mailed to and from My home country took almost 5 weeks to get the certificate back. Even though I haven't left Australia to commit any crimes!! Lol they processed this in June though. If they had 28 days waiting after they received this information for the second time you would think they would approve it in a matter of days...so frustrating. I think I'm the only one here waiting this long...

Hey yeah really quick for sure LukeSam! I just cant believe the application is still pending after over 6 months of waiting! It will be 7 months in ten days...I just wish they would approve it soon. Hoping this week, will definitely post once approved!! fingers crossed

My agent tells me that they dont assign case officers anymore, and it just gets put into a rotation and picked up by various officers... Every time I have emailed them a different officer emails me back, does anyone know if this is what they have heard as well?? Application and Nomination submitted in January, Nomination approved Feb, Medicals March, Police Check June...still waiting...

No audit, just waiting...I've called a couple times and they just say it's in processing...they won't give a timeframe and say it's well within the 5-8 months but it will be 7 months on the 30th...why me My agent has also emailed to follow up

Applied nomination and visa January, nomination approved Feb, criminal check resubmitted June...no further docs required. Allocated and in processing. 186 DIrect entry. Marketing Specialist One dependent

i see most people on here are waiting on March/April appli, I've been waiting since January, still in processing. Is there anything I can do to get them to process? Please help this is well beyond the time of 5 months for low risk countries..,any advice would be helpful

Im getting really worried its been since January, 30 2015??? I got told today the same thing 5-8 months even though I come from a low risk country it should be five months?? its been six months for me today... I'm Canadian come on we are really just like Ozzies just colder :wink: I dont think I can handle the wait anymore its driving me crazy

I'm still waiting on mine and seeing yours get approved keeps my hope alive... I'm so frustrated that it has taken this long for me.:arghh: I dont understand they dont require anything further...and I applied in Jan...heres hoping its tomorrow, congrats to everyone that got theirs!!:smile: Has anyone received PR from NSW Team 2? Maybe mine is next?

Congrats shanechan517! I new to POMS in Oz.... I'm still waiting on my PR (186 ENS). It gives me hope to see how quick yours was approved. I really hope its this week... Nomination Approved October 16 2014 - Visa Application Submitted 30 January 2015 - Request for Further documents received June 18 2015 - Visa Approved: TBC.
