We had the same issue recently- they didn't tell us the process had changed until we tried to move money. By the time we resent all the required proof of identity etc and set up new account the rate had changed. Hate that we cannot pay by debit card any more. We came out in January 2016 on a Parents Subclass 173 visa. Our Subclass 143 was lodged on 10 February 2016 and we have not heard anything. The TEST email has been stuck at 4 February processing date for weeks now. Does anyone know how long the conversion usually takes. The email states 9 months for allocation of case officer - but we are past this now. thanks

I have been looking into the cost of bringing our dog out with us. At the moment the thought of leaving him behind - he is a 6 year old spaniel- is too difficult to accept. I think my emotions are all over the place at the moment - there are so many decisions to make. I was delighted to hear that the quarantine period has been reduced to 10 days - all being well. However it appears that they get no exercise,no visits,no treats, no toys - and will be getting new food! So there is no way of knowing what the conditions are like. It all seems very cruel - and I was wondering if anyone has been through this since the conditions were changed in September 2014. I would also love to hear which company was used to ship the pet. thanks

We are hoping to move to Australia on Parents Visa - but we will be pensioners! We have a Final Salary Pension - so we will continue to have it paid into a UK bank account. However looking at our bank website it seems that they do not allow non UK residents to hold a bank account? Is this correct? Does anyone have a UK bank account still after moving out?
