  1. Hi, I got the same message regarding medical information. I think it means the Medical officer has completed checking our health profiles, providing their opinions and passing it to the CO. It's now up to the CO's decision. I guess so. Anyone has any ideas what's going on afterwards? Btw, in the "correspondent" link, I saw they have updated all correspondence between CO and myself since lodgement, which did not appear before yesterday. Dunno what meant? My heart is beating so hard now, just can't wait. My case is quite special, so... just looking for miracle to come. God bless us.
  2. Hi wrussell, Can you please share more about health waiver? What do they do with it? what make the health waiver ok or not ok? Can you explain the alternative that you are talking about "prepare a submission to be considered if there is an unfavourable medical outcome "? Really appreciate it.
  3. By the way, I found this definition " [h=3]MIGRATION REGULATIONS 1994 - REG 1.05A [/h]Dependent (1) Subject to subregulation (2), a person (the first person ) is dependent on another person if: (a) at the time when it is necessary to establish whether the first person is dependent on the other person: (i) the first person is, and has been for a substantial period immediately before that time, wholly or substantially reliant on the other person for financial support to meet the first person's basic needs for food, clothing and shelter; and (ii) the first person's reliance on the other person is greater than any reliance by the first person on any other person, or source of support, for financial support to meet the first person's basic needs for food, clothing and shelter; or (b) the first person is wholly or substantially reliant on the other person for financial support because the first person is incapacitated for work due to the total or partial loss of the first person's bodily or mental functions. (2) A person (the first person ) is dependent on another person for the purposes of an application for: (d) a Protection (Class XA) visa; or (ea) a Refugee and Humanitarian (Class XB) visa; or (i) a Temporary Safe Haven (Class UJ) visa; if the first person is wholly or substantially reliant on the other person for financial, psychological or physical support. If according to that, I did wrongly mention him as "dependent", and now I need to inform my CO and make appropriate change, right? Can anyone pls advise.
  4. Hi Ozmaniac, that's what exactly I am thinking about. As I thought, dependent meaning they are financially dependent on somebody to live a normal life, right? But then, according to the immi instruction (the question mark next to the field "non-migrating dependent" in visa application form), spouse are considered as "dependent", "Your husband is your dependent just as he is your husband" so I dont get that either, really confusing. If things go like what you say, it would be much easier for us by just filling in the form to remove him. Can you please advise if I understand correctly?
  5. Thanks all for your sharing. I came across other posts and understand process would be like this: - health check - subject to health waiver - MOC to decide health waiver or not by estimating the costs --> then it's all about luck and... praying. I am doing visa 189 on my own, so I probably will get professional advice on this. Does anyone know anybody facing the same situation and got visa granted ? Really look forward to hearing some practical sharing on how to deal with it? I saw cases who still got their visas after several years of kidney transplant (main applicant and migrating spouse). I dont know what about non-migrating dependent.
  6. Thanks Pumpkin, even he is non-migrating at all? Can you please share with me the instruction saying so please?
  7. Thanks snifter. Can anyone share your view/experience please? Honestly we did not think that non-migrating with significant health condition may result refusal of main applicant's visa, (that's why we decided to apply for visa 189 for me and my kid), but then my husband found out that it might be the case. He is really worried now.
  8. Hi there, I found this thread about non-migrating, so decided to share my case, hope that I can get some advice: I am the main applicant + my kid (4 years old). My husband is non-migrating dependent, he has kidney failure (significant health condition), he is not financial dependent (But i included him in application as non-migrating dependent, dont know if I did correctly or not). He is still working, same company as me, happy with his work, good opportunity, good income, his father/mother/brothers and my family are still living next to our home. We receive good health insurance from government for his sickness. It took us years to finally decide that we (me and my child) will go ahead with visa 189, while my husband will stay home because things will be much better for him at home. We plan everything well to ensure that both my husband and us will be ok afterwards, so I did lodge my visa, CO assigned and pending only health check for the whole family. My husband just came across this thread this morning, and spent time to read all the posts. But still concern about our case: Can anyone tell me what is the probability for me and my kid to get visa if my husband is found to be in significant health condition? Thanks everybody Can anyone help to clarify? please
  9. Hi Shadow, do you normally receive any acknowledgement/automatic reply message when replying to your CO's email? I contacted my CO twice, but did not receive any acknowledgement or message like mentioned above. Is it weird? And, I uploaded my additional documents via IMMI ACCOUNT. Should I tell my CO about it? Or she/he will automatically knows where to look at? My timeline is: 9/6 - lodged, 1/7 - CO assigned, 10/7 - Local PCC + additional docs, pending PCC from Netherlands and Health check (next week).
  10. Thanks Shadow, it means that different officers will be working on our file at the same time, rite? I still contacted my CO but did not receive the above message.
  11. Hi, I just received confirmation from the Netherlands, saying that my PCC will be issued within 4 weeks, meaning I will be late to submit it to CO within 28 days. Should I inform my CO now about the delay? Or should I wait until the 28 days lapse, then I explain the situation? BTW, I am having sore throat, it seems turning into sniffle today. I heard that normal sickness should not be a problem. Is it true? is it ok to go for Health examination? Should I go for health check within this week? (my deadline to submit PCC and Health check is 28 July).
  12. Hi Nehajha, I dont have experience with Singapore, but finally I got reply from CO this morning. They said as Swavik and Renuka mentioned earlier, meaning you dont need an official letter from CO, just attach (i) Visa invitation (ii) Acknowledgement of application receipt, (iii) invoice, ...and show them the requirement of Characters sections, following the link that Swavik/Renuka provided... and whatever else Singapore asks.--> then it should be ok. BTW, I got reply from CO, but a different one. I dont know what it means? Changing of Case Officer, rite? But why? My previous CO said she's from "Adelaide team 23", she sent from "Adelaide GSM Team 23" address But the new CO just said "General Skilled Migration Team 6", dunno from where, he sent from his personal email, and cc "gsm.allocated" Can anyone explain? pls.
  13. Hi Swavik and Renuka, Thanks a lot for your sharing. Definitely I can go ahead now, as I had all documents ready. Finally, i took me 10 days waiting for CO's reply for nothing. Anyway, if the NL PCC is late, I have reasons to explain her. Thanks all. I will keep you guys updated my progress.
  14. Hey Nehajha, I also lodged mine on 9th June. I got my local PCC and waiting for CO to reply regarding Netherlands PCC. About this, do you have any idea about DIAC letter vs. CO request? For my case, CO has been assigned, and she asked me for NL PCC, Can I use her request letter to attach with PCC application form? Her request letter mentions various things, not only NL PCC. Dont know if I can attach it or should I ask her for an official letter, which I've done but no answers so far. Any idea? I have been waiting for her reply for 10 days, but nothing come up
  15. Yes, Swavik, if you have front loaded all documents, even PCC and Health check, I dont think there should be any issues with your case, let's pray for a DIRECT GRANT then. ( I am still doing my PCC and Health check). Fingers cross.
  16. Hi swavik, I lodged visa on the 9th June. @abdul, thank you for your wish. I got an email with title like this "BCC2014/... - .TRN - My name - Request Documents or Info". She asked me for almost everything relating to experiences: contract, payslips, reference letter, tax documents, bank statements that I've sent to VETASSESS 1 year ago. Luckily I have all documents scanned before sending to VETASSESS. My husband is not migrating, he signed form 1229, so CO again asked his signature being certified by Local Police. Btw, can i ask you guys a question? I got about 1 year working as accountant for a local company 8 years ago, I dont have contract/payslips/tax documents for that job, but I already uploaded reference letter + salary statement. Is it sufficient for the CO? Those are the only papers I can obtain from that job. Wish you guys will hear good news soon
  17. I got CO since 1/7. Adelaide team 23. anyone has the same team? She asked me for additional documents for experience, PCC and health check which in fact, I am preparing.
  18. Anyone can help me?? Does DIAC count: 1. the working experience before qualification? 2. the working experience that are not submitted for Skill assessment? (the job was actually related to the one I did SA, accountant/external auditor/internal auditor, but when I submitted for SA (last year), I almost forgot my very first but very short-term experience (for 8 months, almost 8 years ago) as accountant, I just thought of my current employment as external/internal auditor. It's my mistake I know. So now just wondering If DIAC counts the total experiences I claimed in EOI regardless in SA letter, there were nothing mentioning the 8 months. If DIAC doesn't count those months, my experience will be less than 8 years, and the points should have been reduced by 5, meaning I'm not qualified to be invited. However, if they count, things should be OK. Pls help. I am really nervous. DIAC may refuse my application because they think I claimed wrongly. (I should have checked this before lodging, hik hik).
  19. I completed mine on 9 June, waiting for PCC to be issued by my home country (2 Jul) and from the Netherlands (no clue), health check next week, haven't heard anything ab CO yet.
  20. Hi Cissi, I think when you click on the link "Organize your health check" below the table to upload your docs, complete it, print it, the HAP ID should be there, then just pick up phone and arrange health check with your Doctor. I dont think you should wait until CO is assigned to have HAP ID. Btw, does anyone got CO assigned? I've seen many applicants recently got CO assigned within 10 days after lodging.
  21. Hi jasepom ,I searched the forum and found this thread. I thought it's about those who applied Australia PR, and resided in the NL during the last 10 years prior to visa application (like me). So we need to obtain PCC from both NL and home country. Anyway if you know someone, pls share.
  22. Hi, sorry to recall this very old thread. I am currently getting stuck to obtain PCC from the Netherlands. I understand you guys here obtained it so far. Pls advise how I can submit it. I've got the application form, but dunno how to submit. Via email (which email address) or by post (address again)? And normally how long does it take? Thanks all for support.
  23. Big Big Congratulation!!! Your timeline showed that you've got it about 1month after lodging, rite? That's great.
  24. Anyone experienced obtaining PCC from The Netherlands, pls helpppppp! I downloaded the form but dont know how to submit, via email or by post? How long to get it?
